GE Designs has a cutting chart on their website that gives many cutting increments for these rulers. It makes it so easy and quick to cut strips. With this ruler I was able to cut 6 total yards of a variety of fabrics into 1.5 inch strips in a matter of a couple hours, a task that would've taken a couple weeks without it. I was so excited and so in a rhythm that I also ended up cutting a chunk off my thumb. :( I highly recommend this ruler.
