Dr. Tobias Turmeric Curcumin 1500mg with BioPerine – Extra Strength Supplement with 95% Curcuminoids for Joint Support, Overall Vitality & Immune Health, 120 Vegan Capsules, Non-GMO

I've been using this for over 3 weeks now, and the first and most important thing to share is that my hip pain -- which had been chronic and increasing due to arthritis -- is noticeably and significantly less than it was before starting this product! I am pretty active, and was just putting up with the pain or treating it with ibuprofen when it got too bad. As an example, I would take a Zumba class on Monday evening, and knew that I would pay for it for the next 48 hours, often even having to limp if I had much walking to do the next day or two (just shopping in Fred Meyer for half an hour would cause this). I didn't want to take constant ibuprofen, being concerned about long-term liver damage that could occur. Now I take just 1 of the Dr. Tobias' capsules each day now and I have not had any limping issues -- not even once! I am often 100 percent free of pain -- or have a pain level of maybe just 1 or 2, versus often 5 or 6 before! And I have not had to take any ibuprofen at all for my hip issues since starting this regimen. By the way, I am somewhat of a skeptic about supplements, so I wouldn't be giving this review if it didn't do something tangible for me. Limp/no limp? That's tangible. Secondly: On advice of my massage therapist I had grabbed a bottle of turmeric with pepper from a local store a month before, prior to really researching the subject in any depth. It did help some, but not dramatically. I then read up about turmeric on some reputable web sites, and came to realize that the product I had bought did not have a very high level of the 95% curcuminoids, which is the most important ingredient. So I looked at 2-3 dozen products on Amazon, and studied the actual ingredient list of every one. Dr. Tobias was the clear winner based on 750 mg of the 95% extract and the price, which is very affordable per dose. (I only found one other product that came in second place with 500 mg, which was Nature's Way -- no other products that I looked at even came close to these two. Of course, I could find products with less of the 95% extract, but they wanted you to take 3 of them per day, significantly increasing your daily cost.) A bonus: my order came with a coupon for a free bottle as a first-time user -- I don't know what size bottle it'll be, but hey, it's free! I have now ordered product for my husband, who has different pain issues so I can't comment yet on whether it will be effective for him. But we have high hopes!

Definitely helps with joint inflammation and inflammation related to digestion. I feel it is a quality supplement compared to other turmeric ones I have tried. Update 6/15/2022: I recently stopped taking this for a few days. I was surprised to start developing problems with asthma again after not having issues for years. When I started looking into it, I found turmeric helps reduce inflammation in the airways (not sure why I didn’t make that connection) and mucus secretions associated with asthma. I started taking it years ago to assist with management of symptoms associated with my autoimmune disease and am fully appreciating the benefits even more now. 5/13/2025: Started getting slightly higher LFTs (ALT and AST) along with right upper quadrant pain. Read studies where long term turmeric supplementation can cause this. Started reducing by pouring out half a capsule daily for the last week. Right upper quadrant pain is decreasing. Am having more allergy related symptoms since decreasing turmeric dose, but RUQ pain is less. Not sure if correlation = causation here but still worth noting. Side note: Turmeric is considered a mast cell stabilizer. But like all supplements and medications, dose is key. Too much can cause problems. Too little isn’t therapeutic. Find what works well for you and don’t be afraid to test and see if it’s truly helpful or a hindrance in your journey for improved health.

This is my first time ever writing a review on Amazon and I’m doing so because of the phenomenal results I have had with this product. I am a man in my early 60's and I was having problems with my knee. I walk for exercise on my "off days" when I not riding my bicycle or going to the gym. My knee was irritated and slightly swollen which was causing me pain while walking and bike riding. I have been taking glucosamine for years and it was a game changer when I started taking it years ago. It smoothed over the joint pain I had experienced for years. But, for months I had knee pain and nothing I did would alleviate the pain I experienced during walking or bike riding. Ultimately, I ran across Dr Tobias's product and read raving reviews which caused me to purchase the product. WOW! What a difference Dr Tobias’s Turmeric has made in my life! Within a couple of days of taking Turmeric, my knee pain completely went away! This was a big deal for me because I am a very active person and the problem I was having with my knee was seriously affecting my lifestyle. Also, I have never experienced any stomach upset, gas, or diarrhea like many other people mention when using other Turmeric products. I have been taking this product for about 1-year now and I will continue to take this product daily for the difference it makes in my life. I have recommended this product to many people and everyone that has tried it has had similar results. Bottom line… This is a quality product and I highly recommend that you give it a try!

First , I bought this product , hence my review is not influenced by receiving a free bottle , I have been drinking this product for less than a month, only reason why I don't give the fulll five stars, will update when more time have passed , however , i have been reading about the benefits of this for a long time but hadn't start drinking it , I must say that I was diagnosed with an auto inmune disease that causes inflammation in my organs, arteries , veins etc , so decided to take this pills in addition to my conventional treatment I'm following with the doctor , whom also agreed on me consuming these pills , in the few weeks I've been drinking it , some changes have been noticed , don't know if it depended on the. Patient , the condition or the time it has been used , I used to get lots of legs cramps , more headaches lack of energy , all of which have improved , I have back pain due to a scoliosis too , still is too soon to assess the full benefits I hope I'll get from it and look forward on this becoming part of my everyday life , and my illness to improve and have a better quality of life and for his medicine to be able to stop or reduce he effects of the other medications and prevent any symptoms related to this disease , I have high hopes that the quality of this supplement will play a big part in it Good luck to everyone

I felt better within a week of taking this product and will continue to take Tumeric curcumin with bioprene. My thinking is somewhat clearer, I am sleeping better, aches have lessened and I am a bit more energetic - not miraculous, but taking into account everything, my quality of life has improved. One example is meals - I can focus better to plan menus, find the ingredients on sale, go to the store and get them in the house, preparation and cooking and clean up is easier because I have a bit more energy and aches and pains are less so I can stand a little longer. I still have to rest sometimes, but less often now. This strength and combination seems to work for me and I only have to take 1 capsule per day, so the larger bottle lasts for 4 months. With cheaper products I looked at, you had to take more capsules per day and they were actually more expensive per month than this one for lesser amounts of curcumin.

I am taking this product to help maintain good health, reduce inflammation, and in maintaining good health prevent illness. I don't have a way of measuring the effects, but I trust that the product is working as it should and i know that curcumin is already proven effective in many clinical trials, and since my health is good and I feel good i have no worries. As I understand it, the dosage used in clinical trials to test the efficacy of curcumin is usually 600 mg three times per day. 600 mg is approximately equal to 12 to 15g of high-quality organic dry Tumeric powder or probably 20 to 25 g of high-quality organic Tumeric root. This is an awful lot to have to consume so this high strenght high quality Dr Tobias tumeric curcumin extract product is a must for me. The price in the US is very good value however the price in Europe (High VAT i guess) is unacceptable. I guess they don't want us to stay healthy and well and prevent diseases like cancer, since cancer it's such a profitable business.

There may be cheaper curcumin products out there but this product is the one you want. Because 1: This product actually has 95% extract compared to the others that will put 100 mg of the 95% and 650 mg of turmeric unstandardized extract and 2: because it is a completely standardized extract is works great for your joints (they will feel less sore) also is nice use after high intensity workouts. It will also help your gut health and boost your immune system. This product is a staple in my daily vitamin regime. Great product.. lasts for 1-4 months depending on how many you take. Good value.

I liked the fast shipping and bottle arrived just as pictured. I didn't notice anything big as far as differences before vs after, but possibly a slight improvement. This is fine with me since I am not looking for a drastic reaction, just an extra bit of help for my joints. I am pleased and WAS going to order more to keep it in my system, however here is what made me question the company behind this product. Inside each package, I've ordered more than one, there is a large card advertising a book and on the other side is advertising "Receive a FREE Bottle", "as a gesture of appreciation" and goes on to explain the exact website address to get it. IT DOESN'T EXIST!!! I have tried multiple times to find this website by typing it in exactly as it is printed and also by searching for any such site in general, nothing is EVER found. THIS SCREAMS SHADY BUSINESS!!!! For this reason, I do not feel safe ordering anymore from this company and will order elsewhere with trustworthy information provided by the company it's from. I need trustworthiness for things I put in my body.
