Great electric sharpener!
We had the exact same one for almost 20 years, and it only gave out because our youngest child was putting things in it. Great sharpener, and definitely recommend!

Nice pencil sharpener
Small in size and this thing tears through pencils and leaves a nice tip. We've had if for a month with no problems. So far so good!

Broke after a month
This pencil sharpener broke after a month and a half of use, two days a week. So after a total of about 16 uses, it is totally useless. Not to mention it was god aweful loud even straight out of the box. Did not expect this lack of quality from a Bostitch brand but there you go. My next purchase will NOT be a Bostitch. Give me my money back!!!

Have to push further than I thought
I was going to say I didn't like the sharpener. I couldn't see where it would sharpen my pencils. We ordered them on the Dec 26 and received them on Dec 29. Today is Feb 15 and I just found out that I have to really push the pencil in (further than I thought I should have to). It sharpens well ... isn't TOO noisy ... we like them.

I bought this one after my other Bostitch sharpener was destroyed by the dogs.... this one is great. Wish i had bought this one originally, smooth easy sharpening. great for colored pencils

Doesn't sharpen as great as I had hoped. Maybe it needs breaking in. Bought it for the church so it doesn't get tons of use.

badly machined. rough cut
What a disappointment this device was. The pencil fit is coarse so it marks up the pencil. The penicl has to be forced quite hard into the device in order to get it to basically brind away to a sharp point. The finish onthe pencil shows the blades are not well machined and its a very poor excuse for an electric sharpener. I will not be using it. Will continue to look for a proper device. I am used to mains powered sharpeners that used to cost around £ 100, find them hard to buy these days since cheap rubbish possibly chinese imports have destroyed the market for decent tools

Ne marche pas en Europe
C'est peut-etre le meilleur taille-crayon du monde, mais je ne peux pas le brancher ici en France car c'est un modele AMERICAIN qui utilise 120V/60Hz, pas les 220/50Hz de l'Europe. J'aurais imaginé qu'un produit vendu sur un site en France avec une page écrit en français et envoyé a une adresse française sera conforme aux normes français; en fait je pensais que c'est meme la loi qu'il conforme. Mais non. C'est la modele Americaine qu'ils m'ont envoyé. Gentilment ils m'ont envoyé un remboursement complet, donc merci pour ça, mais je le trouve bizarre de ne meme pas en parler dans l'annonce que ce n'est pas un appareil qu'on peut utiliser en Europe.
