Having a motorcycle I am used to popping down the side stand and walking away, but a recent purchase of my first push bike in about 30yrs left me finding a wall to rest the bike against or a kerb where I could wedge the pedal against to keep it upright. Took me right back to being an early teenager again that did. So I looked for side stands and came across this. Cheap but well constructed. Fitted perfectly to my box frame so may struggle if your frame is round. Fitted easily located so the pedal didnt touch it one extended. Came with two extra Allen headed bolts (don't know why as they are the same as the ones that clamp to the frame) and three.....yes three Allan keys. There are two sizes of bolts on the stand all told and 1 key for each of them and a "spare" Probably as they are made out of chineseium and round off easily. Don't ask me how I know. I used proper Allan keys to fully tighten in the end. A good positive lock when retracted and you don't need Arnie type leg muscles to extend it either. Just as well. A good buy in my opinion, so money well spent.

Went delivered safely packed, along with all the bits and bops requested to get it fitted to you mountain bike. Well presents. Easy to install (took my 10 minutes to install it). It is extendable and strong enough to keep your bike up even with a relatively heavy bag installed on you back stand. It does perfectly do the job. Very good value for money. I didn’t post any pictures because it looks exactly like the pictures in the advertise. Strongly recommended.

The stand is extremely easy to install. It fit a frog 69 bike and keeps it upright without any issues. The leg is also adjustable with one hex, so the bike angle can be adjusted or just adjusted for different bike sizes. The bolts need to be tightened significantly to ensure that it did not rotate, however once done the stand was quite solid. A rubber spacer would have fixed this. One small gripe is that the spring is not very stiff and my son complained that the stand did clank slightly when the bike vibrates, mind you you would not realise on a flat road but he likes to take the bike off road. Again a bit of rubber on the angle piece sorted this out. Overall cannot complain for the money. Looks sturdy and will keep the bike from being thrown all over the.

Perfect still use on my bike!!

I read the reviews and was swayed. The unit looks great and is easily assembled and is very reasonably priced. However, there are 2 things that could be improved. (1) The spring feels a little weak on the one I have, so much so that it rattles/vibrates when cycling on rough roads. (2) when I adjusted the length of the stand to suit my bike, I cut the thread in the locking nut when I tightened it in position meaning that it wouldn't stay tight. As the metal is very light, I ended up taking off the nut again to drill and tap it so I could get it to work.

Fantastic easy to install and adjustable height makes it suitable for a wide range of sizes

For just 8 days of use on my kids bike, it broke. Wouldn’t recommend someone to buy

Really easy to install - just undo the 3 bolts with the supplied Allen key, place over the bar where you want to the stand to be and tighten the 3 bolts. Initially, I found that the stand slipped and rotated under the weight of my bike but then I realised that this was because I hadn't tightened the bolts enough as I was worried I might damage something. In fact, the stand is very strong and once I had tightened the bolts more it was rock solid - even under the weight of my heavy bike with a fully loaded pannier on the same side - see pics for proof! When not in use it folds back nicely and doesn't get in the way as you cycle. The bottom strut on the kickstand is also adjustable so you can make it longer or shorter as required. Comes with 3 Allen keys (2 of the main size and 1 of the size to adjust the bottom strut) and 2 spare bolts. Really pleased with this product and happy to recommend.

Me costó localizar un hueco en mi e-bike para instalarlo pero una vez montado funciona muy bien y tiene buena robustez.

Eccellente, facile da montare ed estremamente adatto all’uso. L’ho montato su una bici elettrica abbastanza pesante in sostituzioni di due cavalletti di alluminio che avevano ceduto e si presta molto bene alla funzione. Lo consiglio perché vale la spesa e rispecchia i requisititi!
