It's super easy to use and quiet too.It works fine. rotating the trays every 2-3 hours, helps it dry even, My son first batch of beef jerky came out great and went quickly! They would Save money and time by creating there own healthy snacks as for cleaningOne problem many food dehydrators is that food will get stuck on the trays. This is expected since when you dehydrate food it can become very sticky messy. Just let the trays soak in a sink full of hot soapy water. Then, some gentle scrubbing should get dried on food to come off .Don’t be afraid to let your pieces soak for several hours if needed.Dehydrator trays are fragile so never use harsh abrasives on them. I have used a no stick spray light don't over spray..on the trays with a flavorless no stick spray before drying. You can try this and see if it helps keep your trays cleaner.Just let the trays soak all need is time , move your trays around enjoy. I still have my first food dehydrators that I had for 17teen years.
