As a first-time dad, I’m learning quickly that babies can get overwhelmed by loud environments — and let’s be honest, so can we as parents. I bought the Alpine Muffy Baby earmuffs before a 4th of July celebration, and I genuinely wish I’d picked these up sooner. Our little guy wore them through the entire fireworks show, and he didn’t flinch once. That’s saying something for a baby who usually startles at the blender. The soft, stretchy headband didn’t leave any marks and didn’t press on his head — which made me feel better knowing it’s safe for his still-developing fontanel. Setup? Easy. They’re light, super adjustable, and feel really well made. No BPA, no weird smells out of the box, and they fold up neatly into the included pouch — a big win for dads who hate extra clutter in the diaper bag. For anyone that’s planning on taking their newborn, infant or toddler to an event, especially one that’s going to be loud such as stadium game or concert, I highly recommend picking up one of these earmuffs. As someone who’s had the unfortunate displeasure of dealing with tinnitus, protecting your ears and the ears of your young ones is of the upmost importance. We took our daughter with us to one of the matches for the FIFA Club World Cup and she enjoyed the game and even slept through a large portion of it in comfort and safety using these earmuffs. My biggest advice is to get these setup and give them a trial run before you head out to the venue. They do take some effort to setup in the sense of trying to figure out the proper placement and distance the muffs need to be on the band. Take your time to read and understand the instructions and the whole process will be fairly straight forward. The band has a grippy side which kept it nicely in place, however if you have a squirmy newborn like we do, you’ll have to check on them constantly to make sure they didn’t wiggle their way out of it. The biggest issue we ran into with these that since our new borns head is rather small, and the muffs are large relatively speaking, anytime our newborn wiggled too much or flailed her arms, she would shift the ear muffs. This issue should go away as they grow and there’s most space between the top of the shoulders and ears. Overall, we’ve been super happy with these and they seem to work as intended. Highly recommended!

We bought these for our 7-month-old ahead of a family wedding, knowing the reception would get loud. I'm so glad we did! The Muffy Baby headphones worked like a charm. Our little one slept through a good portion of the speeches and the loud band music without a single flinch. The best part is the design. I was worried about pressure on his head, but the soft elastic band is a much better solution than a traditional hard-cased headband. He didn't seem to mind wearing them at all, and there were no marks on his skin when we took them off. The little carrying pouch is also a nice touch for keeping them clean in the diaper bag. My only small complaint is getting them on. Trying to hold a squirming baby while positioning both ear cups and securing the velcro band by myself was a bit of a challenge. It took a couple of tries to get the fit just right so they wouldn't slip. Once they were on securely, they stayed put, but it's definitely easier with two people. Overall, a fantastic product that gives us real peace of mind. Despite the slight learning curve with fitting them, I'd absolutely recommend them.

These ear muffs are fantastic! My older kid is in wrestling and those all day tournaments can be VERY loud. We got these for my littlest one and we were able to have nap time during those long days. I highly recommend! They don’t seem to bother her and they are lightweight but work well

In theory, these seem legit and because my two month old has a larger than normal head I thought it would be a slam dunk purchase for her to wear at an upcoming event. However, no matter how much we adjusted it or tightened it, it kept slipping off. It was a giant failure. I don’t think I’d ever buy these again.

I bought this so my son wouldn't be disturbed while watching Monster Truck. There was something non-slip at the head, so it didn't fall or slip out of his head. Despite all the noise, he was very comfortable and even fell asleep ☺️

We tried these on our two month old baby and they fit him! We didn’t actually need to use them until he was nearly 7 months old. They work great! He slept through a Halloween party with a DJ! They still fit him today at 10 months old.
