Best thing since sliced bread
OMFG, what a tool, after trying multiple oil wrench tools yesterday and getting nowhere, i decided to purchase this. Good price, for a solid chunk of metal, that just works, gets into the small, tight gaps, good Grip, sturdy. It just does the job, no strain, no effort, no messing. I should have bought this years ago, so much easier than any other oil filter wrench ive bought.

Turned hours of trying into seconds of removal
Awesome, managed to get my WR1 filter off with ease and it wouldn't budge at all with even the belt method. Wish I'd got this 30 years ago would have saved a lot of time over the years. Very solid product, reversible mechanism so can tighten up as well as remove and nice solid metal structure with strong spring. Highly recommended from my usage

Good tool that works.
Heavy but did the job. For some reason people take the fairing off their Suzuki Gsx1000f ( about an hour and broken fastners) to do the oil service ??? I easily worked out you don't. My SST cup tool kept slipping on the filter body becasuse the previous oil service and filter fitment was completed by a gorilla. Ordered this tool..... worked spot on. Good bit of kit for the money from China !!!

Brilliant oil filter remover.
Had to remove oil filter on 2004 Harley Sportster which had been stood for long time, 10 ish years! I didn't want to buy Harley tool, how hard could it be. This was well and truly stuck, so much so that I took screwdriver and bashed it through with hammer to lever it off. Nothing moved, but chewed up metal. Frustrated I turned to internet, all manner of different sizes of tool, but then found this.OmG what an innovation, one of the best value things out there this is adjustable to different sizes and tightens its grip as you turn to remove. The filter was chrome and at first slipped a little, so I put some duct tape round, then it gripped. I put loads of pressure/ force against it, but to my relief it moved and I got the mangled filter off. I thought worse case it would have to go into a work shop. If you're in any doubt and are stuck, I promise this will sort you out and work. Well made and strong and can work of different sizes of filter.

No good for frequent use
Works well, however springs started falling out after a few uses. Overall quality is good but could use stronger springs.

The best oil filter wrench
This oil filter wrench has a larger contact area than most, which makes a big difference on stuck filters. Wrapping a filter in high-grit sandpaper makes it possible to get just about any filter loose with this device - especially with a breaker bar.

I recently picked up the Spurtar Oil Filter Wrench for Toyota Cap to do my own oil changes, and I am absolutely thrilled with this tool! If you own a Toyota with the cartridge-style oil filter, this wrench is an absolute game-changer and deserves a full 5-star rating. What immediately impressed me was the precision fit. It slips perfectly over the oil filter housing cap, gripping it securely without any slippage or play. This is crucial for preventing stripped caps and making the job much easier. The durable construction feels incredibly solid – it's clearly built from high-quality aluminum or steel (depending on the specific model, mine feels robust) and designed to withstand significant torque without deforming. I've used other wrenches in the past that either didn't fit right or felt flimsy, but the Spurtar wrench inspired confidence from the first use. It made removing and tightening the filter cap a breeze, even when it was initially quite tight. The design allows for a standard ratchet or breaker bar, providing excellent leverage. This tool has made my DIY oil changes quicker, cleaner, and far less frustrating. It's a small investment that will save you time, effort, and potential headaches in the long run. If you're a Toyota owner who performs your own maintenance, do yourself a favor and get this Spurtar oil filter wrench. It's an indispensable tool that performs exactly as advertised!

Works surprisingly well! Dont forget to set the direction, the discription is kind of vague about that. Used it to remove a small 68mm filter and a larger one as well. That one barely fit but still leveraged enough to get it loose.
