Samurai Shield (600 Count) Matte Clear Premium Protective Trading Card Sleeves for Standard Size Magic The Gathering MTG, Pokemon, Board Games, Baseball/Sports – 6 Packs of 100

I sleeve all of my board and card games, and in the past have used Ultra Pro Clear Deck Protectors as my go to for the standard card game sized sleeves. Looking for matte sleeves, I have tried Ultra Pro Matte Deck Protectors, GameGenics Premium Matte and Samurai Shields Matte sleeves. I found between the three, the Samurai Shields were the best in every way.The Samurai Shields are consistently cut between batches/packs, feel sturdy and have a good thickness equal to or more than then the Ultra Pro or GameGenic sleeves. The back has a nice textured matte finish that you can still see the card through pretty clearly. The front of the sleeve is clear for good visibility of the face of the card. (Compared to GameGenic which is matte on both sides, and Ultra Pro which is matte on the front and clear on the back).Using an Arkham Horror LCG card as reference, the sleeve extends beyond the card by 0.50-0.75mm on the top. There is about 2.00mm spacing on the left and right sides and about 1.25mm spacing on the bottom.Value wise, Ultra Pros are still cheaper, but only by a few cents. With the 600 Value Bundle of the Samurai Shields, it comes to $2.99/pk of 50 which is pretty affordable compared to other premium tier brands out there while still offering top tier quality sleeves.The sleeves make it easy to shuffle the cards without having to worry about scratching the cards or getting them dirty. When stacked they do not slide as much as non-matte cards do.As of this post, I have purchased 6 of 600 value bundle and am waiting on an order for 3 more bundles. I plan to re-sleeve my Arkham Horror LCG collection with these and will be sleeving the Marvel Champions LCG, Pathfinder Adventure Card Game and future games with these sleeves.

I was on a mad quest for the perfect sleeves for my Magic the Gathering cards as I got back into actually playing the game and not just collecting.I have so far sleeved about 400 of the 600count and have not ran into a single tear or warped sleeve. My cards were easy to insert without struggle yet are snug and no risk of sliding out while shuffling or storing.The clear front has no obstructions and you can read any text or details with perfect clarity. No glaring or holograms to be seen if that's your thing.The Matte backing gives a good texture and grip for stacking decks and drawing cards. Haven't had a 60 card deck slide or topple over yet and that's huge.I would not consider the cost to be a negative if you are looking for top of the line protection while being able to play with your cards.I can safely say Samurai Shield has delivered a top notch product and will continue to purchase them as my needs arise.

Great sleeves at a great price. I bought these sleeves to replace the sticky penny sleeves for games that I play frequently (Root, Vast, King of New York). I was looking for sleeves that you can still see the card backs as they are different.The fit is good, they feel good, are easy to shuffle, and don't stick together.

Using these to sleeve my Arkham Horror LCG collection. This is the first card sleeve that I’ve used and I’m very happy with the quality! The cards fit nicely and it’s super easy to shuffle! I’ve bought two 600 counts already and will be buying more as needed!

Recently bought one of these 600 sleeve packs and definitely was happy about them! Nothing too fancy, but not short of quality in the slightest. If you’re looking for sleeves to quick sleeve a trading card deck or any single cards for that matter these are a great start!

Really love these sleeves! Easy to shuffle, feels good in the hand, I like that I can see the back of both my Pokémon and MTG cards. Very sturdy and a sleeved deck stacks nicely right off the bat without sliding around. Very pleased and will likely buy more from the Samurai Shield brand in the future.

Best sleeves ever. They’re just as thick as dragon shield and thankfully are cut shorter so they don’t have that extra bit of sleeve on the top that is so annoying with dragon shields.

I’ve purchased a black sleeves of the same brand and they were poor quality like this and I thought it was just due to the color process, I’ve purchased 2 of these before and they were great but for some reason they have gone down hill, the photo above is a small portion of the issues I have with the sleeves pretty much 50% of the sleeves are faulty if I wanted to buy a cheap product I would have gone with ultra pro.

I usually use ultra pro matte sleeves and I’d say these are at least equal to that quality and at the time of writing were about half the price here in Aus. The matte side has a very slight bumpy texture but I still use that side for the front of the card (not sure why I’d want the back to be matte?) and have no problems
