Quite frankly, I didn't understand how a 10-part list could make a full book. But I saw the reviews, it was on sale, and I thought, "Heck. Why not?" Now, I can join the countless others who whole-heartedly recommend this book. It's filled with both inspiration and actionable advice. It's an easy/enjoyable read, and because of how it's structured, it's easy to eat a "potato chip" section and put down. For someone who reads before bed, having short sections and easy stopping points is a real mercy. I've finished the first read-through for joy. Now, I'm planning to go through it again and practice the actionable steps. So happy to have found this. Thanks Austin!

Engaging book in Kleon’s down-to-earth voice. So many gems to keep me going with my writing and posting online, something I have the habit of quitting just when I’m hitting my stride. Will come back to this one when I feel like giving up.

Great info but it’s a small, SHORT book, with pictures.Read it in an afternoon. I haven’t read this author’s “Steal Like an Artist” so I’m not sure if it’s similarly small and concise.I realize it’s the era of short attention spans and people needing pictures in their books (that’s just so sad) but I really expected more from “…one of the brightest new minds on the creative landscape”.The information is sound, but it’s more of a Hallmark gift book than a book-book. I would have liked a longer, more in-depth read on this subject.

I enjoyed Steal Like an Artist and decided I had to see what else the author had to say. And I am glad I did. There are simple ideas here that I am taking away - maybe stealing away - as I do my work. And show my work, too.

Austin Kleon provides powerful insights into the vulnerability of artists putting themselves out there for the world to see. This is an easy-to-read and understand book that every entrepreneur, artist, and content influencer should read! The visuals are also great for anyone who is a visual learner like me. I plan to pick and read his other two books from the series!

Great read, precise and to the point.It gives you great ideas on how to expose your work in ways that you may have not thought of.

I’m not sure that I was the key demographic for this book, I’m not an artist, but… it has valuable, digestible, usable content for every soul.I read it because it looked interesting and it was leaving kindle unlimited and I was between books - so, give it a try you won’t regret it and if you do… you probably need to read it again.

Great guide to start over showing what you do. For enteprenours but as well in corporate jobs. I think it helps in every aspect.
