I'm a huge huge makeup collector and junkie. I've recently been into Amazon dupes and after being surprised by those I tried more Amazon palettes. I saw this one and I absolutely ADORED the color story. These shades are just beautiful and although very different, the way they're put together in this palette just really appeals to me. I was mostly excited about the mattes because it was those colors I was mostly drawn to. Now, I have bought much more expensive name brand palettes that had MUCH worse mattes in them. These work ok to good. Some better than others. They're far from the worst. They're buildable and blend very well. You will need to play around and do some trial and error with eyeshadow primers, using or not using setting powder after primer and before shadows, spraying brush with setting spray etc. Theres tons of tricks and depending on the shade you're using, the primer and setting spray you're using and the look you're going for, you have so many options. For less than $10 I am more than happy to put a little bit of extra effort into making these work. Where this palette really shines (lol pun) though is the metallics. I saw the pictures with the finger prints in them and I thought that was... interesting. But I dont trust ANY pics online from anyone or any brand ever. But, no lie, there are a few metallics that are literally cream textured. They're so cool to play with. They make for gorgeous finger swatches on your arm because you can apply a good amount and go back and forth to evenly rub it in. But be mindful that swatches dont always tell the full story about how they will apply on the eye. Using fingers and not using too many matte shades layered underneath it, trying to go over as much clear skin with primer on it as possible makes they really REALLY pop and stay on much longer at full saturation. The glitters are fine. I'm personally not one for glitter. But they do work better with a glitter glue. The glitter colors are very nice. All in all, if you have other palettes that you really like and use and only use this one for accent shades, and dont rely on just this 1 single palette for all your looks from matte to shimmers to glitters... you'll be so so happy with this. Its AWESOME for beginners to play around with too. Or for FX makeup- I did use some Inglot Duraline with a few matte shades to try and make liquid liners or molten shadows and they worked GREAT for that. This can really expand your makeup collection in a few ways. AND I have found that these shadows (even shimmers and glitters) remove VERY easily from the eye with micellar water or oil cleanser or balm cleanser. Some of the matte shades with more red in them were a little stubborn and maybe stained my skin the tiniest bit for a short while. This is also VERY VERY easy to depot and take shades you really like out of it and into a magnetic palette. For under $10, even if you REALLY hate it and only use a few shades you're not losing out- I've paid much much more for single shadows. You can always return it. Or donate it to homeless shelters or domestic violence shelters. Best of luck everyone.

The glitters are the star of this pallette! Most of them have a very creamy consistency. The few that have chunkier glitter will need a base coat. Other than that money well spent. All of the matte colors are blend-able and buildable! They also look amazing with a wash of glitter on top. They are on the powdery side so yes, you will probably need a primer for them as well. But with Asian makeup and this is a an asian product, the going trend is less is more, many products are buildable! I just swatched all the colors and am very pleased! Ill be back to maybe add a few pictures!

great colors easy to use full coverage

The brush is useless. Some are creamy but it works only using a finger, the glitter ones are hard. Not many colors I can use, but it's ok, I can use few and I will be ok with it. The ones I used before are not on the market anymore so I gave a try to these ones, next time I will look for something else.

To start off, I am a very average 20yr college girl that wears pretty basic makeup everyday, so I cant speak for all the makeup gurus out there. I thought this may be a bit too good to be true because it is so cheap, and the reviews are all over the place, but I am overall really happy! I think the mattes work great, the shimmers are BEAUTIFUL and exactly what I've been looking for (looks more "wet" instead chunks of glitter or sparkles), and the glitters are okayyyyy. Ill admit I dont really use the glitters unless Im feeling extra bold on a night out haha so I may not be the best critic, but they perform okayish. Not as opaque as I would hope, but that being said they still work and you can build them up with some patience! Colors look slightly different in person, but in my opinion I like them better in person! It is a great piece of makeup for someone who enjoys a natural look, but may want to spice it up a little with a shimmer or fun pop of color :)

I am very pleased with this product. The colours are well pigmented. There are some fun glitter options if you like a little spice. There are also a lot of earthy tones for those that love the subtle look. In my opinion, the colours can compliment all skin tones.
