You get what you pay for. You don’t get what you don’t pay for.The thin plated brass could support a lid that is a couple of ounces. Beyond half a pound will flex the two hinges. A pound will stress the fasteners.Kind of them to include an extra screw.It is one of the only thin-box-side stop hinge options available at Woodcraft (we need smaller hinges for small boxes, Brusso!). The thin stamped sheet metal flexes way beyond 105° with my 9x6 box, 3/16” lid. Strength specs would be nice.I was also required to reform the hinges flat in a vise as all five pairs of hinges I bought were warped in production or shipping, having wow and flex preventing them from laying flat.Good for my small shop boxes, but should have known better to trust any of them for a client’s keepsake box.
