I used this knife for the first time yesterday and was not disappointed. It was easy to use and worked great. It has a sharp edge which is what I wanted, but not to the point of having to worry about cutting myself.

Exceeds my Expectations
This knife (a) is inexpensive, (b) is just the right shape and size to whack up things like rotisserie chickens, (c) has a strong and rigid blade, and (d) has a good nonslip handle. I also like the very functional bolster/finger guard that keeps one's hand from slipping down onto the blade in case one's hand slips down the nonslip handle. The knife was razor sharp out of the box.I bought a similar Sabatier at the same time as this knife. I kept this knife and returned the Sabatier.
