My 2 year old Goldendoodle initially had an ear infection that his vet had to cure. But the take home instructions, after the in office treatment, was to purchase this ear wash. My furbaby’s ears are constantly irritated by allergies so the vet explained how this would help.I was ok using the product but wasn’t happy about the price my bet’s office wanted to charge me. So… of course, I checked Amazon and there it was. The 2 pack was much more reasonable, so I purchased it.Now to be honest, my dog hates it (due to the smell and method) so I didn’t use it until weeks after the purchase.I tried it twice at home but after he recognized the bottle and the vinegar smell it has, he wouldn’t let me get close to him with it.But because my dog goes to the groomer weekly and she is SO wonderful, she’s able to use the product as prescribed by his vet and it works!!!!!I have seen so much improvement and my dog is no longer attempted to rub his ears because they’re irritated.Pretty good product! I’ll keep using it!

My friends dog was prescribed this for yeast and told me about it. Love that it is available without a prescription so I can have it on hand.

My English Bulldog constantly has moist, red, irritated skin in her facial wrinkles. I have used everything from baby wipes to antibiotic ointment to cortisone cream to soothe her skin with no improvement. I had heard the MalAcetic wipes were the best thing to clean wrinkles with, but since she also has trouble with ear infections I thought I would try this both in her ears for maintenance and topically on her wrinkles. It's only day three but I had to post a review because her wrinkles are CLEAN AND DRY!! This is a first after six months of having to clean and dry her wrinkles every morning and night. All I did was use a little of this on a soft cloth to clean her wrinkles two times. I will be using it daily! I can tell already that this is a way better deal than buying the wipes as well, this huge bottle will last forever. Also, while it smells chemically when you first pour it it leaves a subtle green apple scent when it dries. She smells so nice and she is clean, dry, and comfortable now. FIVE STARS PEOPLE! You will not be disappointed :)

I use this about once every 2-3 weeks or whenever my dog needs an ear cleaning. When I grab the bottle now, she runs away and hides. My guess is, like many other reviewers have pointed out, is that the smell is too overwhelming. I, personally, like the smell of it. It gives her a fresh apple scent and it last for days. I always get complimented on her smell especially when her ears have been cleaned. I have had no problems with her ears. Its always nice and clean. Although when I do clean her ears, excess will drip or get shaken off on her furr and it can get a little sticky. I just use a baby wipe and it removes most of the stickiness. Only reason why I would change ear cleaning solution is because of her hatred for it. Other than that, it works perfectly!
