I use these bags for our staple cheddar. If you carefully fold the bags, they can easily last for 4 - 6 weeks. The cheese doesn't sweat and stays fresh. There's just the 2 of us but we are cheese lovers so the bag is open daily. One set will easily last a year. Worth it!

I was a little sceptical of these bags but saw a good write-up in a foodie magazine, so decided to give them a try. So far only used them on a block of everyday cheddar cheese, but the cheese has stayed wonderfully fresh and not dried out on any of the edges as it normally would.Not cheap, but if they save cheese they will quickly pay for themselves.

Convenient bag makes it easy & convenient. Simply place cheese, after opening original packaging, into the cheese saving bag & fold extra underneath.Then into fridge. Access to cheese is easy, simply open bag, cut a chunk, & replace remaining cheese back into bag, and then back into fridge. “Rinse, repeat”.

I've had a problem with Brie and other soft cheeses drying out in our frost-free refrigerator. This product simply takes that problem away. I can't see a difference with hard cheese as they don't stay in the refrigerator that long. The envelopes seem to last for a couple of uses.

A local cheesemonger told me that these type of bags were best for storing cheese, allowing it to breathe. These do the trick!
