Great concept, some minor inconveniences
I really like this and have used it every day for a few weeks now, and would highly recommend it; that said, I do have some qualms with it. First, it is a little small. I am using a True Utility key ring that has 11 keys on it, and it is a tight fit with the velcro barely closing. Besides that, due to the direction of the velcro, I find this opening up whenever I sit down in a car or get out-but usually my keys are in my hand so this is minor. My last (and perhaps only substantive) complaint is that it rides up fairly high above the belt, probably an inch. The overall height is fine, but due to being above the belt I need to be mindful of where this is on my belt before I sit down so I don't poke myself in the gut. For reference, I wear it on my left hip at the 9-10 o'clock position, shifting it a bit depending on if I'm wearing jeans or slacks and need to access my front pocket.

Quiet in deed.
This item proved itself. While trying to restrain a EDP who was being disorderly I had to sneak behind him while other officers talked to him. My keys did not make one sound. This key holder held them as tight as possible and resulted in a safe restraint for a person in need of help.

Decent key holder, but...
I bought this key holder because I work security detail, and I get tired of having my keys either in my pocket, presumably scratching my phone, or jangling around on a clip hanging from a belt loop. I really enjoy the Bianchi Patroltek line of holsters, but I find this key holder to be more of a nuisance than a helpful tool, mostly because it barely holds more than 5 keys on a ring before the holder will burst open at the Velcro seam... and then you're back to jingling keys. Secondly, the holder protrudes very far from your body, meaning that if you wear it by your front pants pocket, it will stick you in the belly badly when you bend down. Wear it to the left or right on your duty belt, out from either hip, and it makes navigating awkward, and jackets/coats ride up around it, and makes drawing from a holster on the same side more difficult. Wear it in back of your duty belt, and driving, sitting, and even reaching for the keys and putting them back on the holder becomes silly. I do like the quality of the holder, and the price ($8) is in line with the quality, but unfortunately it just isn't useful for me. It may be awesome for 1-3 keys, but if you have only a few keys, you probably wouldn't be looking for a silent key holster.

Sturdy and effective.
Good product. Sturdy velcro and material in general. Fits perfect on the duty belt. You will need a medium size key ring. A large bundle of keys will not fit, I had to make a separate key ring with just keys for work on it so they will fit when you close the velcro. It works great! No more keys dangling and making necessary noise. Good purchase. Worth the money.

Great key holder
First impressions are positive. The flaps and Velcro feels high quality. What gets me a little worried is the belt loop strap; it does not feel heavy duty. I haven't tested it myself but I feel a forced tug can rip this off my belt.

Seems to hold together well.
Use it 30 - 40 times per shift. Have had no troubles at all.

Thank you for this idea!
I use this daily and have had detainees try and take my keys from me. Not so easy with this holster. Perfect. Keep in mind it's not so big and can only hold a few keys. Still perfect for my use. I use it to keep my car keys on me so that I don't have to keep my car keys in my pocket.

After over a year’s use...
I’ve had it for about a year and a half wth no issues. I’ve been debating wether or not to replace it with something else but I’ve never acted on it. I guess there’s a reason for that. For what I use it for, there’s nothing I’d rather have. Made well, reliable brand and long lasting product. Will update if any issues arise

great but snap is weak
Glad the keys are squeezed behind the velco flaps because the snap button unsnaps very easily and my keys would fall down all the time. I frequently have to resnap it. Surprising for a Safariland I expected a very stiff snap. For that price it should be very strong...you had one job !
