Great replacement
My 25 year old Timberland shovel finally bit the dust this year. This shovel was the perfect replacement for it. A little longer handle would have been nice but I got along fine through the winter season. It does what I need it too and seems quite durable.

Light, well made, I bought it for snow
I like to grill outdoor year round and keeping the area around my grill on my patio requires a small, light shovel as opposed to a wider, heavier snow shovel. This shovel works perfect. This shovel is well made, hard wood handle, smooth and tough blade. It's made even better when I give is a spray of DuPont Teflon snow and ice spray made for shovels and snow blowers or DuPont Teflon dry fil lubricant which is cheaper.

Reliable Shovel
Great shovel overall but I only use on steps because I am tall. If there was a long handled option, it would be perfect for me.

Best damn shovel I've ever owned
I bought one a couple of years ago never got to use it, this year a medical condition put me on the sidelines, so my wife had to move snow, she liked it so much that I bought a 2nd, one for the front and one for the deck. Very light weight and wide mouth and hasn't scratched my deck.

Solid shovel
Just moved from GA to ME. Needed a shovel and the local Walmart had a very limited selection. This is identical to one the guys at work recommended (just a different manufacturer). Looks to have been sitting on a shelf for some time and is a bit scuffed up - but it's a shovel so it will do. Deep "well" in the shovel to pick up a good amount of snow means less shoveling!

Can't say anything critical
A #14 scoop shovel with a plastic head is hard to find. They're the best for moving snow. The one I had from this manufacturer was great and I would highly recommend. Unfortunately, this Amazon vendor canceled my order for a new one.

I bought it for scooping pony poop! Love it!
The plastic is so slick it slides under compacted poop as if it was a greased pancake on a skillet. Using the old muscle effort to push the shovel into a peed on poop pile my dear pony lays on from time to time, or cleaning out the "pee" hole was so not much effort to gt the shovel into it. I nearly fell over from using the old momentum of getting my former metal grain shovel into a pile. I just broke the metal grain shovel doing the pee hole... So I love this new one. Tiny observation is the U-handle is a bit too slick 'cuz it's plastic too, maybe a wooden handle next design confab? Many thanks for making a hard chore easier on a tired old back!

Plastic has split where shovel joins wood shaft
I bought this shovel to use along with my pusher shovel for clearing snow off our Azek deck. It's well constructed and does the job. Highly recommended. Update after 15 months. Plastic where the shovel joins the wood shaft has split in multiple places. The shovel has been used very lightly in the past year and hasn't been subjected to unusual stress. Unfortunately, I'll be replacing it with another brand.

I do Really like the base , it is large enough and very light for a good scoop of snow . The only recommendation is the wooden shaft could have been a little longer by a few inches.

The product seems sturdy enough but a bit short. It should be at least 4 inches more to be ergonomic. Pretty sure Iโm going to get a soar back from shoveling with it.
