The design is nice as it keeps the application pad off of the pressed powder. To my surprise I actually like it a lot. I often wear full coverage foundation plus powder of some sort. But there's often days where I don't feel like and/or have time to do full makeup. I have combination-type (oily t-zone) skin so compact powders like this are nice to have when I'm rushing, or traveling, and want to control some of the shine on my face. Now, I also have really red cheeks, sometimes with more redness than other days, and this doesn't mask the redness-- especially if it's a really red day-- but it usually helps lessen the appearance of it. When I do wear foundation, it does a nice job of holding it place.
