[Atomy] Bubble & Color Brown

I have been using this product for 2 years. Usually I ordered it through a friend. Yes, you need an account to order any Atomy product. I just don't want to border my friend too much since this is one of the two products that I use from Atomy. The dye does not have any ammonia at all. It is not messy since it is the bubble/foam type.. The colored hair looks shiny and smooth and the grey is covered. I receive compliments all the time when people know that I color my hair. It will wash out in about 5 to 6 weeks. For me, it is acceptable.

This didn’t cover my gray hair (black, Asian hair) well and the color was fade by a week. But this was quite gentle so would be ideal for someone one has allergic reactions from hair dye.

A. It is totally black not brown at all.B. It leaves stubborn stains on skin. (It took me several hours and a lot of ways to remove those black marks on my forehead, they are still there.)C. The chemical smell (weird smell, not like other hair dye product) is not strong but enough to make me sick.

The image of the box on the posting is true to how it ended up looking, which is great because it was what I was aiming for! It honestly is basically black though, so beware. When the box came in, too, it looked like a lighter brown than what i’d wanted. But no, it’s SUPER dark.

Box dyes in the US usually don't "take" very well on my hair, and are often messy to use. The instructions are entirely in Korean, but if you've ever dyed your hair at home you should be able to use this kit without any trouble, regardless of your primary language. This kit comes with a plastic cape, gloves, and little ear caps to help protect your skin from staining. I left the color on a little longer than I should have (20 minutes rather than the suggested 10) because I anticipated that it would not take well, but I was pleasantly shocked to see that it came out even darker than expected - it looks soft jet black indoors, but is a warm toned brown-black in the sunlight. It does stain the skin easily, so be sure to protect around the hairline with lotion or conditioner/rinse if you don't want to have dark spots left behind (a good practice for any at-home dye kit!). No harsh smell and the foam makes enough to easily do two applications on short-to-medium length hair. **I did not receive this product for free or any compensation or discount, just genuinely really pleased with the quality of this kit!
