I love the taste! I'm trying other flavors
I've purchased a few different flavors from sweetleaf. The one thing they get 100% right on every flavor I've tried so far is flavor. I read a lot of the other reviews and agree with the ones that say artificial sweetners are an acquired taste. Just like if you are honest and remember back to the first time you tried diet soda or something similar. It tastes different than the 'real thing' or the original. However, if you keep in mind how UNHEALTHY large amounts of sugar are in our diet and how equally POISONOUS they've since discovered the artificial sweetners are, such as aspartame, sucralose and saccharin, a natural alternative such as Stevia is a great choice.I've personally found the affect they had on me when I quit drinking a diet soda I had almost every evening. I had 1-2 cans usually each night after drinking lots of flavored water all day long. I thought a can or two of diet soda after drinking all that water can't hurt, right? I was wrong. What I didn't realize what that the water flavoring I had been using had Sucralose in it, while my diet soda had aspartame. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. Did some research after my brother suggested I might have aspartame poisoning. He was right. Once I quit drinking my nightly pop, then quit the drink mixes that had the same type of substitute sugar in them, I began feeling better!Miracle, right!? Usually I'm pessimistic when people tell me something acts or was a miracle. This truly was. I won't go into more details but suffice it to say I don't regret changing my habits. I now use Stevia products but only the ones that add it safely. Some products use unhealthy ways of adding Stevia, like add methanol. You don't want to use products like that!Personally, I've found using this particular flavor doesn't have an aftertaste for me using it lightly or a bit stronger. Great flavor and a decent price. Easy to use and I carry it on the go with me as I drink nothing but water all day long but find it hard to drink water without any flavor. If you've made the decision to live healthier, Stevia flavoring might take a little getting use to, but it's worth it in the end.

Everything is an acquired taste…everything!
I went to reorder this and noticed the bad reviews, so I had to put in my two cents…for the record, I use about half the recommended amount in a 16.9oz bottle of water, and I love it. I can't stand water; it's nauseating to me. I use SweetLeaf's SteviaClear in many things, particularly my green tea. When I saw this stuff I knew I had to try it. I'm already accustomed to stevia, so this tasted good to me. I plan to try some of the other flavors because I desperately need to increase my water intake and variety is important to me.Real sugar is unhealthy, especially in large amounts. We all know this, which is why we look for alternatives. Most people don't like an alternative sweetener when they first taste it; they all have an aftertaste. It's an acquired taste, regardless of which one we're discussing. I'm unable to tolerate aspartame or saccharine; they give me migraines. Besides that, the evidence shows they're absolutely not good for us in the long term. Sucralose is probably as bad for us as the others, but we don't have enough research to prove that yet.So if you need an alternative to sugar and you can't tolerate or don't want to risk the artificial stuff, what can you do? Stevia is natural…so long as you purchase a brand that extracts it safely and doesn't add anything to it. Believe me, I've done my research; SweetLeaf is one of the very few stevia sources I trust. Yes, there's an aftertaste. The artificial sweeteners also have an aftertaste, but if you've been drinking it for years you no longer notice it.What it comes down to is, what's really important to you? Are you health-conscious enough to try more than one flavor of a safely extracted stevia sweetener, in case this one just doesn't work for your particular tastes? Are you willing to keep trying the safer, natural sweeteners until you acquire the taste for them? Or will you throw out the whole idea of stevia because one water flavoring happens to disagree with you? You can go back to the carcinogenic, nervous-system-damaging artificial sweeteners…but is it really worth it?

A New Favorite
I read a lot of the reviews before purchasing this so I was prepared for something extremely delicious or horrifyingly bitter. Let me first of all state that while this is my first time trying stevia this is not my first time with artificial sweeteners. Splenda my go to sweetener. But I was pleasantly surprised. It does have an aftertaste but that's a given. What some people say is bitter I'd say is more of a salty aftertaste. If you've ever had that Mexican candy, the one that's really just salt and lemon juice, then you'll know what I mean. It might be because I got the raspberry lemonade but it's not off putting. I use about four squirts in a 750ml/25oz water bottle and the aftertaste is mild at best and it really is delicious. The only downside is that I really can't taste the raspberry. If I didn't know any better I would think it was lemon lime flavor but that's fine. Better than plan water when you need a bit of flavor. Suffice to say I will buy again. Very happy with this purchase. Thanks Sweetleaf! :)

I decided to give these water drops a try as they were made with stevia. This tastes totally different than your average flavor enhancing items so it might take a bit to get use to the taste. But I am learning to like it. Other than the obvious plus that it is made with stevia I like that it has no color. It only takes about one squeeze to flavor my bottle of water. If I could change one thing I woul like them to actually come out in drops instead of a stream. It's hard to actually measure how much you are putting into your water.
