HaigmanMen's Cotton Dressing Gown Bath Robe Nightwear 7396

I had been "suffering" in the heat with a warm winter dressing gown and a very old waffle material one when I thought, why not have a look for a specifically summer weight light dressing gown? After much research on Amazon, discarding many which were clearly not like a proper dressing gown at all, I found the Haigman brand with many positive reviews.It's true that some reviewers did not like the very lightweight aspect of this particular item but that's really what I was looking for. It's really light so just right for these hot days and evenings where the humidity can be very unpleasant.I should also say that they are very well made, with traditional deep pockets and loops which take the cotton cord tie which is included. Sizing is also just as expected -- I am a standard medium in almost every type of clothing and the medium size of this dressing gown fits perfectly (I would say I am somewhere between a 40" to 42" chest and 37" to 38" waist).So, highly recommended -- it has stopped me feeling uncomfortably hot and I would not hesitate to go back to Haigman in the autumn/winter for something thicker and warmer.Many thanks for reading -- this is my own unbiased opinion and I bought this item through Amazon in the normal way!

Perfect dressing gown . Good quality. Light and cool to wear PERFECT for the summer weather hubby over the moon.. was that pleased I sent for another only different style. ( grey stripe) But instead they sent the exact same one we have but shows the I style I asked for on the front of the package.. so a bit cautious to send for one again

This is a good lightweight robe. It would be ideal for spring and summer months as it is very light but perhaps not the right material for cooler weather. Nice colour and and is true to fit. However, I would say that the finish isn't perfect as there are a few loose threads and the loops for the belt that goes around it don't seem very strong and may be the first thing that will get damaged with use. That being said, I can't really fault this for the otherwise reasonable price. Just buy a thicker one for winter (terry towelling is a nice material).Having had this robe for a couple of months now I would add that it is a bit annoying how wrinkled it gets every time it is washed. Get used to ironing it. I would knock half a star off for that if I could.

Bought for my dad when he was in hospital so he didn’t have to wear backless things but still be nice and cool in hot ward. Pleased with fabric, washes well, dries quickly, looks smart. Doesn’t need ironing. He is very comfortable in it. Covers everything when he sits down, doesn’t gape open like some others do and cotton is sufficiently stiff so cord holds its knot. Will order another for summer.

My husband is very happy with this dressing gown lovely and light and good length .generous on size so I got medium instead of large and it's fine

This is a lovely lightweight dressing gown. Would have given 5 stars but the stitching was all coming away around the collar. Luckily I have a sewing machine so I could repair it easily but shouldn't have been necessary. Needed urgently so didn't return 😕
