Works perfectly
For a friend's chevy s10 blazer tailgate. Got the latch working. Now he can open the tailgate again. Easy enough to replace, the difficult part is to remove the inside panel to access the latch to be able to fix it..

Fixed liftgate yay :)
Was finally able to fix my broken hatch release. Had some slight difficulty getting the new clip to slide on but besides that no other issues. This part was also cheaper compared to what most auto part stores will charge you .

Did not realize that Dorman is the 'Help' rack. You know... when you are at the auto parts place, and that whole red section of help products? Like the caliper bolts for 80's chevys, or the power window switches for the 74 t-bird, along with brake springs and door pins?Well that is what Dorman is. If I had realized it, I would have gone down to Autozone to check, and possibly saved the shipping and wait.Aside from that, this is a perfect fit, perfect application.If you need help figuring this out, drop me a note, and I will walk you through it.
