Compatibility, Ease of programming, Quality Items, and great price
Bought these as extra keys for my 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500. Had them cut to match original key, it takes 10 seconds to self-program them. Had NO issues whatsoever. Really good quality key blanks, The Automotive Locksmith that cut them checked the chipset using the Database and it's a perfect match. Even he was impressed with the match. I Can't answer for other vehicles, but they were 100% absolutely compatible for mine

Worked flawlessly on 2012 Chevy Tahoe. Plus programming protocol.
Worked flawlessly on my 2012 Tahoe. First, get the keys cut. Phone local hardware stores and ask if they will cut a blank you bring in. Inform them this is NOT a laser cut key. Not all hardware stores will do this - they want to sell you the blank (rip-off). Try hardware stores before settling for a locksmith, it's a lot cheaper. I ended up at an Ace Hardware ($6.99/key). Here is the correct programming protocol for THIS vehicle. 1. Insert a working key. Turn to "on" position (do not start car) and wait for the security icon (padlock) to appear, then disappear. 2. Turn to "off" position and remove. 3. Immediately insert the new, cut transponder key. Turn to "on" position - wait for security icon to appear, then disappear. 4. Turn key to "off" position. The new key should be programmed. 5. Start car with new key to ensure success.

Worked perfectly for my 2011 Chevy HHR
I was down to one key... Ace wanted $45 to make another key. GM would probably want $200. Since my 2011 HHR has a super easy "programming" process, I took the small risk and got this set o' keys. Ace made copies for $5/key. 1) I started my car with my existing key 2) Turned off 3) Within 10 seconds put the new key in and started my car It was literally that simple. Great value!

Great deal if you've lost your ignition key
They worked and saved me quite a bit of money going through the dealership. I lost my only ignition key so was in quite a pinch. The dealership wanted $80 per key with the same instructions that these come with. I got two of these for $15 and did the programming myself. First one with no ignition key takes about a half an hour. The second one after the first one is already programmed takes just a couple seconds. I found an old school locksmith to cut them for me. Ace Hardware would not cut it unless it was one of their own keys and the other hardware store near me couldn't get it to fit in their machine. If you don't have an old school locksmith near you that could be an issue but there should be one around somewhere. Anyways these were a pretty fair deal and saved me quite a bit of money and got my car running again after losing the keys.

Excellent!
We had a local independent hardware store cut the keys for $1 per side ($2 per key). Programming was simple: turn the original key in the ignition until the instrument lights appear, then immediately remove the original without starting, then put an unprogrammed key in and repeat. I'd left the new key in for a few seconds before removing. After a minute, I tested that key and it worked as good as the original. 5 STARS!

Perfect replacement
Perfect. Much better than $100 at a dealer or store if they actually carry them. Home Depot cut them. Just ask them to run your key in their machine and when it asks, choose NO it is not a transponder key. Then when it tells them to choose #28 from the rack, they can scan the back of that label, then have them insert and cut your blanks. I paid for the price of two #28 keys, around $7 total. Programming on my 08 Sierra was very easy. Use your original key in the ignition, turn to on (not started), wait for the engine light and any others to shut off (5-10 seconds). Turn off, remove and place your new cut key into the ignition and turn to on. Again wait for the lights to go off. Turn the key to off. Now try to start your vehicle. If that works. Repeat same for any other new keys.

work great for a replacements
Works great ,had both keys program in mins. Thanks to battery + bulbs they was able to cut the key. Ace hardware will not cut keys that are brought to store. Cheap peace of mind to had more that one key to start a car that don't costs a lot.

Worked Perfectly, Immediately
My original keys were causing problems in my old Pontiac Torrent. In fact, I was worried a couple of times when the keys would insert, but not turn to start the car and, another time or two, could not be withdrawn from the lock cylinder. When it happens, you imagine lots of things that might be the problem, on the car side... expensive and inconvenient things. After viewing some YouTube videos and pricing parts, I decided not to panic... to try the easiest solution first; new keys. Hooray! Problem solved. Fortunately, my GM dealer, Shaganappi Motors, their parts dep't., was willing to cut the two blank non-GM keys for $5 using original GM key codes based on a VIN search. Couldn't have worked out better. So, don't hesitate to buy these non-OEM keys. They work perfectly. Oh, and programming the new keys takes 5 seconds. It's explained in the car manual. Go for it!

Perfect Replacement.
My wife lost one of her keys for her 2008 Pontiac Torrent. One key from the dealership was over $100. Got both keys for $10. Cut by local locksmith and literally 20 seconds to program them both. Great deal compared to overpriced dealership and they work perfectly.
