I find it to be a great replacement for the DevaCurl Low-Poo which is way way overpriced. This was around $10 when I first started using it and it has crept up to $14 but I continue to purchase it because that is much less than $32 for 12 oz of DevaCurl and it works just as well. It moisturizes but isn’t heavy. It does contain protein (like the DevaCurl) but I feel the moisture it provides balances that protein. But if your hair is very sensitive to protein then just know this has some in it.
