This is the most beautifully illustrated book! We bought it for our little one’s first Christmas and plan to get it out for years to come. The pages are thick and durable.

I love this book! I had been looking for a “The Night Before Christmas” book to read to my kids. I wanted it to be a book that we pull out every year and that they remember and cherish as part of their childhood memories. What I love about this book is that it’s big, durable, and the art is so beautiful! It’s in the perspective of a little mouse family instead of children, so it’s a little more imaginative for little ones. I’m super happy with my purchase.

This book is gorgeous! I don’t usually say that about books but I cannot stop looking at these illustrations. The illustrations are absolutely amazing and so detailed. I feel like I’m going to see something new every time I read it. The cover stands out in relief, I tried to show that with the close up of the rabbit. The cover also has shines gold that is so beautiful. The first page has a to/from area, I love that since I purchased this for my son for his first Christmas (he is 3 months old. The pages are very thick and I think they will hold up over time, especially as my son grows and wants to touch the book in future Christmases. Would make a beautiful gift to a baby. The book came to me with smudges on the cover but it easily wiped off with water.

But... DO BETTER AMAZON!!! Shipping 2 books in a box 5x bigger than the products and no packing for cushioning. At least they weren't damaged.

This is our absolutely FAVORITE ‘‘twas the night before Xmas version of the book- I’ve been trying to find a version where the illustrations are bright & merry & whimsical- a lot of books fail becuz sometimes Santa looks scary or is not dressed in his traditional red- sometimes the illustrations are lacking etc- but THIS book. Oh what a joy and pleasant surprise. If ur looking for a really magical beautiful Teas the night before Xmas version with equally merry illustrations Plse give this book a try- now I will tell you- the story is being told my woodland creatures- little mice and rabbits and deers etc- which makes it that much more magical for little kids. The Santa is happy and merry ver pleasant- dressed in RED like he’s supposed to be- the quality of the book is gorgeous the pages are thick almost cardbook like- sturdy enough for little hands so pages don’t get torn- honestly I’m so grateful after purchasing like 10 different Twas the night books- that I finally found one where the illustrations matched the beautiful story inside. Definitely can be a baby heirloom book

Brilliant purchase

Everyone knows this classic story & it's a must for your Christmas book collection. I was attracted to the book's cover & the inside illustrations didn't disappoint. They are all illustrated in a vintage style & it just makes it a timeless-heirloom book you'll want to pass down. The book itself is extremely well-made being a hardcover & the pages are also thicker so it will hold up very well. My book arrived with minor damage/dented at the bottom pages. It looks like it was dropped at the warehouse. But I'm still very happy with this book.
