I'll be honest - The silver tip did come off like other reviewers has mentioned, but it's not like it's broken and won't function as an accessory for a costume. Grab a tube of super glue (come on... everyone has a tube in their Junk Drawer or tool box), and put the tip back on. For a little over $7, it's a great addition to any costume.
