Lightweight Portable Adjustable Piano Pedal Extender Bench
M**.
Good purchase.
This has been a super great purchase for my 7 year old son. It works, it's sturdy enough, and most importantly, he doesn't strain his body posture when reaching for the pedal. Drawbacks: one pedal use only. It doesn't line up with the second pedal, but I can live with this defect. I presume some pianos have different dimensions of the pedal placement. We literally have to move the item to the other pedal for use, but otherwise, it's a great purchase to help young piano players reach the pedals.

Parents stay away
I did my research and settled on this one for my kids. And it is too flimsy and not stable.

Works Great!
After much research, I bought this pedal extender because it can be used in a lower position than the others I looked at.We have been using it for about three weeks. It works great, and I love that it's not a big box-y thing. We have taken it to piano lessons and a recital. It is easy to carry around and lightweight. The pedals do not line up perfectly (I have a Kawai upright built in the 70's), but that doesn't matter. I just line it up over the sustaining (right) pedal and we're good to go. That's all we need right now.My daughter has played the extender pedal wearing Crocs, dress shoes and barefoot, on a Kawai, Steinway concert grand and digital piano. She's had no issues using it. So far so good, and there is no squeaking sound!Although it is easy to adjust, I agree with other reviews - it would be hard for a teacher to do so before each lesson if the children are different sizes. It works best if used for one child (otherwise, you will be on your knees often trying to adjust the pedal height). The extender is well-made. The finish is shiny black and the pedals are a nice brass. It is easy to clean too.Overall, I am super-pleased with this purchase!

Good product, but takes too long to change at lessons
I bought this pedal extender for use in my teaching studio. It is well constructed, but it takes too long to adjust to different heights for students at lessons. Therefore I wouldn't recommend it for use in a busy studio, but rather to parents of students for home use where it doesn't have to be readjusted frequently (at least until your kid has a growth spurt...).

To slow to adjust between players.
We are purchasing our second. We have a 5 year old and a 8 year old. We have use the 1st stool for 2 years. 1st one still works. It is too slow to adjust daily. We are getting a 2nd.
