It is great, and would get again for shorter 2B hair.
I have 2b wavy hair, medium thickness. I recently got a shoulder length hair cut, and had no idea how to style it. This was great for adding a lot of volume while straightening it and blow drying it all at the same time. It is very easy to use. The low and high modes have the same heat, but use different air strength, while the cool setting has a cooler air at the highest air strength. It takes me about 10-20 minutes to style my hair, and it stays straight and voluminous for about 2-3 days. The round brush is a bit larger than I expected.

Just right for my hair.
When I first used it there was the normal smell of first time use. It is a bit heavy for my arms but I so was able to use it without any problem. I love the fact it has several strengths of fan and heat. I get the curl I want and smooth with volume elsewhere I want it. After a few times odd use, I got the look I was after and it works great. It is a bit bigger than I thought when I ordered it. Yet it fits the bill. One draw back it is too big for travel. My hair is cut short up to my chin and cups under this drive does a great job for me.

Kinda obsessed with this thing....
Bought this because my cousin couldn't stop raving about hers. I normally am pretty skilled with a blow dryer and round brush. I felt like my Babybliss dryer was causing a lot of heat damage even with a diffuser so I thought I would give this a whirl while the whole world is on corona lock down and there's not much else to do. For reference I have thick course hair, to my shoulder blades and heavily layered. Damp to dry normally takes about 20-25 minutes. I'll do the cons first and by no means should they discourage from purchasing this beautiful hair bestie. The cord stinks, it should be longer and it's stiff. I can't use an extension because it has the surge and when I do it trips the fuse. It might be better with shorter hair as you're not needing to pull the hair out so far. I'm not keen on the controls either. They twist at the base and there is no heat setting. You have your choice of cool, low and high. Had Revelon put heat settings on this I would pay triple. I would like if it had a cool shot button as well so I didn't have to twist the bottom to switch. So better options on the controls and the cord. Those are my only cons. Pros, on the same note the cool shot - I finish each piece with the cool and it really locks in the style and shine. Normally I would hold down a cool shot to do this, with this I go over everything again at the end. I also bleach from a level 3 to 10. I appreciate being able to style areas I feel are too dry with the strength of air this thing pushes out, it takes a few extra minutes but worth it because no damage. Thebrush is nice, it grips without rip. It is large and I'm not sure how it would do on very short hair but my cousin has a bob style right over her shoulders and uses this daily, her hair looks great. It really gets in at my roots without much hassle. My roots like to trick me into thinking they're dry when they're really still damp but with this guy I won't be fooled again. I do not think it's heavy. But I'm a gym rat and my other dryers are heavier. I'm able to style with one hand and use my free to hold the shorter layers into place around the brush if they start to slide. I have no problem flipping the ends in or out depending how I'm styling that day. It still takes me a good 20 minutes at least to blow dry but having the option of resting one arm while the other works is a lot less tiring. I've had it for a week and I'm so satisfied with the finished results that I haven't turned on my curling or flat iron once. I have spritzed with water and blown out any issues that arose during the night from sleep. This feels a lot less damaging to my locks so that's a huge plus for me. I absolutely love this thing, I didn't think I would, I was being a snob, I admit it. If Revelon would update the controls and the cord I would say this is the perfect piece of blowout machinery. It is still a solid 5 star as far as I'm concerned. Highly recommend.

Sleek and shiny hair even while I still rock 2020 hair
Like many, I haven't been able to risk a hair cut in over a year. My silver hair is probably my only point of vanity. When lock down started, I wore it in a chin length bob with side bangs. Now its tickling my shoulder blades. It didn't take long before I was seeing the damage building up. First I installed a water softener which did help, but the more it grew the frizzier it became and my old ion electric dryer brush just couldn't handle it. I saw a very high dollar version of the Revlon , but even as much as I love my hair, I wasn't shelling out that kind of cash. The Revlon has all of the same features as and looks identical to the obscenely priced product, but at under $50 and it does what it says. It fully dries my hair in about 15 minutes and it comes out with lift at the roots and smooth and silky all the way down to the ends. Couple of minor complaints: 1. it is heavy and quite large. Even so, it is easy to maneuver, but my arm gets tired before I'm done styling. 2. Rather than a button in the handle where your thumb can toggle it, it has an on off dial right at the bottom so you can't turn it on and off easily. Overall though, very pleased with the purchase.

Won't he do it!!!
After watching a video of a woma using it on her natural hair, I was convinced to buy it and I am so happy I did. I have coily hair (aka 4c) and it is thick, which I love, but also it takes forever to dry, so I never put heat on it unless I go to the salon. However, I wanted to try something new, so I used this and I kid you not, it took me about 30 mins to do -- something that would easily take an hour. I did take the time to detangle prior to using when I put my leave-in in, so that also helped. Make sure you take your time and use smaller sections though you don't need to make them as small as you are used to doing. This WILL NOT get your hair bone straight if you have my type of hair. It is more like a blow-out, but I did not expect that coming in and LOVED the end result. All in all, this device is easy to use and works as intended. I am not very "hair-inclined", so if I can do it, I know you can too!
