Decided to give this company a try for ladybugs. The price was good, the bugs came quickly, and only a very few didn't make it. They've been happily munching our pests and doing a great job cutting down the population. We plan on using this company again and again for our ladybug pest control. Update 2/14/2020: One caveat about these ladybugs - they appear to be sterile. At least with the first order they are not reproducing. This is a critical problem, because one of the main ways to control pests with ladybugs is by the larvae. Ladybugs lay eggs and when the larvae hatch they consume more than the adults. This way you can keep the cycle going for a while without having to reorder. This may have been a one-time problem, but we will look elsewhere for our ladybugs for now.

My veggies got inundated with tiny pesky bugs. I was devastated. Then I found live ladybugs on Amazon! YAY I'm so impressed with how much of a difference they have made in such a short time. Now, I'll always make sure I have a mess of ladybugs for all my plants! Make sure you order from a business that guarantees the ladies will arrive alive. Also, if you live in Texas, you'll want to order when it's not sweltering hot! They'll have a better survival rate when it's cooler, especially if there is a chance they'll be in a hot mailbox waiting for you to pick them up.

First let me say that I love ladybugs but this review relates to how they are amazing carnivores when it comes to aphids on your garden and on your cannabis plants. Purchased from this company once and released them all in a closed up greenhouse. They immediately went to work on the aphids and did their thing through their life cycle, including laying eggs and propagating. They don't live forever and so had to make a separate purchase from another company for a second treatment because of the infestation. Hopefully will have loads of ladybugs next spring but if the aphids return, will be purchasing again!

Arrived quickly, and the lady bugs all seemed healthy and alive. The one issue was packaging. Maybe I am a big dummy and missed something obvious, but the packaging is hard plastic mesh and it needed to be cut open, but given the "bag" is full of the lady bugs it was hard to find safe places to cut. It also didn't open very wide and wouldn't stay open so some of the bugs would get stuck in bunches in the corners. I ended up cutting the top, sprinkling some out and then setting the bag in a bush for the bugs to climb out and then coming back after a few minutes to cut the bag open more, then leaving it in another bush, and repeating the process until most of the bugs were out and then left the bag out overnight for the remaining bugs to find their way out.

The ladybugs died in less than 24hrs. I put them right in my garden on a nice sunny day with plenty of water. When I contacted the seller and explained what happened they asked for a photo of the dead ladybugs to prove they arrived dead. I responded to remind them that I did not say that the ladybugs arrived dead and they never contacted me again. Do not waste your money.

For me these came from S. Calif to me in Florida. I think it was around 4 days travel. This is the end of February so the temps are reasonable. Anyway. I have no idea if there are 1500 in the mesh. But I can say I didn’t see a single dead one. 100% alive best I could tell. Surprised me. I recommend the seller. Now - will the lady bugs do their thing - no idea. But this seems to be a good try. We’ll wait and see.

These were terrific. I was worried when they got here because it was 90+ degrees on the delivery day and the mailperson told me that they were in his hot truck all day. But they were all alive, out of 3000 there were less than 5 dead ones. I released them at night at the base of the aphid-infested tree and spread the rest around our 1 acre suburban property. Within two days, the aphids were gone and our problem was solved. I will definitely use these again. Awesome product and no chemicals. Thanks!

We have bought Lady Bugs 3 times. And have been happy with the result, until this particular order. We ordered 3000. They were shipped in one, vented box, and arrived within a few days of our order. When we opened the box … it contained two pours envelopes. Each envelope contained a smell ball of wood shavings, and the bugs. One bag was “alive” with movement and activity …. The other, NO MOVEMENT AT ALL. Literally ALL WERE DEAD. We tried sprinkling of water, we took they out … put them at the base of a tree. Nothing!
