A: It’s flexible.  I have several of these needles and like them.

A: I would say blunt for most of their needles.

A: If I am understanding your question no, the needles are firmly attached to the cord they are connected with.

**Q: Would these work well when knitting a blanket? I have had cords break under the weight of blankets before.**
A: I believe these would work well.  They are strong and the cords are solid.  I'm knitting a heavy sweater right now with mine, and have experienced no problems at all.
