In 1987, American Honda commissioned DC Sports to develop a header for their SCCA prepped CRX's and the result cumulated was our first 4 into 1 header design. It was so well received that Honda requested headers for other applications. That system is the one that started it all (HHC5002). The Sport Compact Market was primarily based on popular Japanese small cars that were great cars to begin with, but also excellent platforms for various tuning modifications. If I go 6000RPM it's very, very loud. **Q: Would this fit a 2007 Honda Civic EX Sedan?** A: I honestly don't know. A the muffler can be mounted to fit most any vehicle but the diameter of your exhaust pipe needs to match the inlet of the muffler. What you do not want to do is have to use an adapter that shrinks down your exhaust pipe in order to make it "plug in" to the muffler. That would create back pressure or restriction on the exhaust leaving the motor. **Q: Can this be clamped or bolted on? Like any other way than welding it?** A: Welding is best but everyone here in the comments is wrong. You can use a sleeve adapter and clamps to fit it to your exhaust and a bolt on hanger kit from amazon or eBay. **Q: If you had to get a silencer for it could you tell me or show me which one would be best for it and if it’s in amazon** A: I can sell you my old one with a muffler silencer installed that’s pretty easy to remove. This was the closest model to the old one (discontinued) that had rusted out so I purchased it hopefully it would be a good fit. Had auto shop guys weld it on for me and it was a perfect fit, no clamps or adapters needed. It sounds great, no real drone noises on the highway and I'm sure my neighbor is happy they don't have to hear the old muffler rattling around anymore lol Additional info: the only thing in the box is the muffler itself. No instructions, clamps/adapters, hardware. Literally the box and the muffler so if you need any other pieces for installation, you will need to purchase them as well. Also, save yourself the hassle and get your inlet specs before purchase.
