I don't know if it can be configured to connect wirelessly, itself. Be advised that someone set the configuration password on mine by mistake and there is no way short of taking to Canon for a paid for service call to get it reset back to factory defaults. Having working with networks and computers for 20 years - this is unacceptable for me to have to deliver it to Canon, pay 250Β£ to reset it to factory default. All other devices that I've every worked with allow you to do it with local access to the device.
