It is hard to find a decent ATX PSU these days. This unit is quiet, runs cool, meets the 80+ energy standard (essential for government jobs these days) and it is reliable. The combination of leads makes this a good unit for field replacements and I have quite a number of these in service at multiple locations where they have been used for field repair replacement and we have zero failures and no complaints. I have had it for over 1 year and it has not caused me any problems. I'm using an APU right now. So will probably use a GPU in the future, and it will handle it without any problems due to its wattage and certification. Hail EVGA!

None of the pre-assembled deskside computers were reasonably priced. Originally bought to replace an AT power supply, but built a whole new system. This was more than I think I need, but I have headroom for power hungry video cards.

The fan in my old power supply had gotten intermittently noisy, so rather than replacing the fan I decided to replace the entire PS. I dreaded this operation, but it turns out it was easy-peasy, about 30 minutes start to finish! The only thing lacking is that the old PS had a cable that would power an LED light on the front of my tower spelling out ASUS, but it's certainly not essential. This unit is quiet and works great.
