Growing up in Glendalough, Co.Wicklow, in Ireland, her family had a Tearooms, Guesthouse and Antique shop. Everything served was home baked by Maria's mother in her Stanley range. She would start at dawn every morning, filling the range with logs and turf to bake delicious soda breads, scones, cakes, biscuits, jams and her famous homemade lemonade. Maria has been making her own delicious homemade granola and muesli for many years. But when a friend with a gluten intolerance stayed with her it gave her the idea to make Gluten Free Granola.
