Why has the price more than doubled for these?????

Items are priced based on what customers are willing to pay. Sometimes it scarcity and other times it’s customers inability to go to the store and get them themselves. You were not just paying for the item you are also paying for my time. Some customers have more money than time. Many customers are willing to pay double and even triple for an item if it means that they do not have to get into their vehicle and waste their time and go to the store and fight the crowds in order to shop. There are even times when you go look for an item and it’s not available and you end up going to multiple stores to find it.
