GemRed 82412 Digital Angle Gauge (Green Backlight)

Great product. $10 less than the one I got at Harbor Freight and 100 times better. And free shipping with Prime. Showed up the day after I ordered it. Measures absolute angles so it works great as a level. But also does relative angles. Easy to read inside or outside, even in direct sunlight. Or in the dark with the backlight. The backlight turns off after a short time to save battery life but the display stays active. Moving it makes the backlight pop back on. Accuracy is exactly as advertised. About +- .2 degrees. Better than a bubble level. If I measure an angle of a surface and it shows 0.8 deg. I can then flip it around to all 3 other sides, and see numbers like 89.2, 89.4, 0.7. Or rotate it 180 to measure the same angle from the other side, and the number is normally +- 0.1 or the same value. There are two arrows that point up and down to indicate which direction is the zero angle. When you turn it upside down to measure an angle from below, the numbers display inverted to make it easy to read. The base is magnetic, but not the sides. Easy to attach to something like a framing square to make it a long reaching level. And it comes with a belt pouch and battery! I couldn't be happier. Perfect simple tool. Doesn't add extra buttons to make it look "better", or lie about its accuracy by displaying extra zeros to get people to buy it. Don't waste your money on those. This is the angle finder and electronic level you are looking for.

works good. a 4 magnet version maybe better if you use it alot. It worked for checking lofts of golf clubs (now) and will work on saw blade angles (future). a bit of math sometimes needed as it only has 1 side magnet. but most people can subtract 90 to adjust if needed

Used to set pinion angles when i lifted my jeep xj very accurate against my old school dial type angle finder the magnetic base is a nice feature and being digital helped me dial in my angles perfectly and have had no vibrations or binding in the drivetrain easy to use and display is bright and legible and storage is great due to the magnetic base just stick it to the tool box lid or side of tool box when not using it

My first one finally bit the dust. I wasn't kind to it. Probably dropped it once too many times. It always seemed accurate and this one appears accurate as well. Much cheaper than the alternatives. If I break another it won't hurt my feelings as bad as the $50 ones breaking.

Bought this for my husband, he loves it. What a great tool, good quality, great price, love that it’s stored in a case. Highly recommend.

Saw this in a YouTube video as my table saw just didn't seem square even using the 4 cut method, i struggled even using a square, set up block, machinist square and still my cuts were off, watched several videos on troubleshooting and fixes, saw this in a video, ordered it, MAN WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!! was able to get blade back to true 90º as well as miter saw, Clean true cuts at any angle, Speeds up reset back to 90º after doing angled cuts, Easy to use, Easy to read, No more struggling with having to bend over watching dial under table to set angles on table saw, Built in magnet fastens to blade strong, Don't have one? GET ONE YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!!

Tiny, wee thing! Accurate to a tee, it can be calibrated, if needed. Comes complete with pouch and battery too! Not fussed that this model has no hold/memory button.
