Hayward Pool Pump, 1.85 HP Pool Filter Pump (W3SP3202VSP), Black

Bought it to replace our old Hayward pump, that gave up the ghost Pump arrived within 2 days, in great condition. We were able to save $300 buying this one vs through the local pool supply companies. My husband installed it, and initially questioned whether it was working due to how quiet it is! Excellent pump, very quiet. Highly recommend. Our pool is in ground, 20’ x 40’ with an 8’ deep end. This pump works great for circulating the water and keeping the pool clean.

This pump is great! We replaced our 4 year old pump with this and you can already tell a difference in the water. The pump is very quite, programing the pump is very easy to do. It will take you a few days to get the programing dialed in just right. Remember this pump isn't made to run at full speed at all times. I run the pump at a low speed in the morning, then have it pick up speed in the afternood to allow the solar panels to heat the pool and then drop down in the evening to just circulate the pool before it shuts off. What's great is the pump tells you how much watts it's using at any given time. I highly reccomend you watch Haywards install video on YouTube as the instructions aren't very clear. If you know how to plumb and just basic wiring knowlage you can install this pump yourself in a hour or so. Overall I'm very happy with this pump and highly reccomend it.

Paid very fair price based on Amazon coupon. At the time significantly lower price that other online platforms. Very easy setup and programming. Replaced single speed Hayward 2 hp TriStar with this new pump. Very pleased and would recommend

Very nice pump for 20,000 gallon pool. Easy to install. Highly recommend this pump. The only bad thing is having to buy a cat5 cable and a wall mount for display if you want to mount your display. It cost $100 for pretty much plastic. After spending $2000 you would think it would be included.

My old motor started making a horrendous noise after opening my pool this year, so ended up buying this as a replacement, figuring the variable speed would help with noise and save us money. Well, more than once I've had to run down to the pool to make sure it's running, it's so quiet. I love that about it! I'm still trying to figure out the best schedule, but currently run at high for 3 hrs in the morning, then go to a medium speed for a few hours, then run it at around 1000 rpm from 3pm - 9pm. This seems to work well with my chlorinator, but keep making adjustments to keep my chemicals leveled. The rebate offered by my utility company made this purchase a no-brainer

The box was opened and a return slip was inside from several months before my purchase. The pump didn’t work quite right. After removing the pump from the motor, a small plastic bag was inside the impeller. Pump now works as it should. A huge power savings over the previous 1.5 hp Hayward single speed. I believe this was a one off issue and u would not hesitate to buy from this seller again. Other items I’ve bought from them were as described and in perfect condition.

Plastic body (no rust), pump to motor connection has external nuts so it won’t fail like older Hayward pumps that use internal threads, 2” inlet and outlet, 1/4 turn basket lid, and of course, it is variable speed. Great pump, lots of power, and very quiet. Only problem, Hayward OnCommand connector is hard to find (green, 4 pin), but if you cut off the top of the green connector on the board, the supplied pump connector can be installed upside down. (Perform at your own risk)

I have been trying to get my pool pump working and Hayward has no Custer care help with warranty. My pump was still under warranty when I realized they are not helpful night a new pump from Amazon made by aquastrong
