I was instantly puzzled by this fluffy item. What is it!?Is it a sweater without sleeves, a trouser without the leg part!?!? A scarf that still needs to be dissected in the middle? A giant-size sock with the toes-part removed??I wondered why you would pay a full price, around £14, so not cheap for only half a piece of garment.It’s use was later demonstrated to me and apparently its REALLY comfy and warm. I must admit it seems to be made of good quality cashmere, and it looks and fits quite well.But it is supposed to be a ‘binder’. In that case, if you ask me, it will cover you belly and probably warm it. But I would be surprised if it actually offers any ‘support’ given the loose stretch of the material. I wonder if it binds more than a regular knit sweater. If anything I’ve never heard about people having a desire to bind their abdomen. Maybe it is somewhat of a fashion item.Moreover it’s advertised as a unisex, abdominal binder. Well, even if its unisex and fashionable to bind your abdomen, I’m not going to wear it.
