THIS HERE IS THE REAL DEAL
for the past two years i've been living in fear of my soap scum. that's because two years ago i ran out of my original tilex soap scum cleaner, and since then i've been using something whose main ingredient is, you won't believe this, citric acid! CITRIC ACID! try attacking soap scum with a sliced lemon and let me know how far you get. you won't get far, because the soap scum will just laugh at your puny lemon and spit out the seeds! soap scum was growing down from the soap dish and up from the tub rim and there was NOTHING I COULD DO TO STOP IT!that is, until i found that tilex still existed in commercial form. what's this use to attack the scum? citric acid? cute little mustachioed bubbles? no: this stuff uses HONEST TO GOD AMERICAN CHEMICALS. with names like ethyl methyl benzyl something something. the kind of chemicals that have soap scum QUIVERING IN THEIR TINY SCUMMY LITTLE BOOTS! who's laughing now? probably not the soap scum, because it is down the drain and on the way to a long and painful stint at my local sewage treatment facility. thank you, clorox! now i can invite guests over and not fear the look in their eyes as they come back from a trip to the bathroom.okay, one tiny little whine though. i guess there's no way to make sure the stuff won't do a little leaking in transit, so it was packed in a plastic bag (inside the box) to keep it from setting off chemical alarms at the post office. a tiny bit still leaked out, but all that did was fill my mailbox with a clean fresh scent that warned off any soap scum that might have been thinking of taking up residence there.

So happy to find this on Amazon! Great stuff!
This is hard to find so when I found it on Amazon I had to order it, my shower door seems to get a lot of soap scum built up on it and I have tried just about everything, I remember I use to find this in my local retail store but it got to the point I was no longer able to find it, I was so happy to see it listed on Amazon. I jumped at ordering this product, it works like a charm, and the smell is not over powering at all. Cleaning the bathroom are not a lot of fun, but this makes me feel I am making progress when it comes to cleaning my shower. Love it!

Just bought 2 more!!
It dosnt take long for soap scum to build up, then you dont want to tackle that horrible job of cleaning the glass shower and tile wall.I was so excited when this arrived i took it straight to the shower for a no scrubbing test drive, and was blown away! With no scrubbing the shower and tile i sprayed it on, i let it set for 3 minutes, and rinsed with a cup of water. The shower glass and tile looked almost as good as in the past with other cleaners and labor intensive scrubbing. I can only imagine how good it will look with minimal elbow grease!I immediately ordered 2 more bottles!!If you hate scrubbing, order at least 2 bottles, youll be happy you did.Update

This product doesn';t accomplish anything unique, not worth purchasing.
If it does 'dissolve soap scum on contact" it must just not dissolve my soap scum, I saw no appreciable difference between regular cleaners and this product. I even went the extra mile and bought the hard water, stain remover and soap scum brush and abrasive pads, tor my cordless drill, effective investing another $25 in this product and to no avail. Nothing. No appreciable cleaning. Wasted time and money.

Buy this if Soap Scum is what you're trying to clean
Many spray on shower cleaners have bleach that will get rid of mold & mildew, but most do almost nothing for that stubborn soap scum. This stuff has ingredients specifically designed to dissolve soap scum...and it shows. It's the only stuff I've ever used that actually does dissolve it.

Does not work
I had a serious case of soap scum build up and needed to clean it. I started with a hour long baking soda paste soak followed by warm vinegar and a few hours of scrubbing/chipping away at it. I got a lot accomplished, but there was still a lot left and I was hoping for a less labor intensive method. I thought I'd try this, but was doubtful it would work and I was right, it doesn't! Not even a little bit...it's like spraying water on it. I tried it again and again...letting it sit for a little longer, scrubbing a little harder and....nothing. Sooooo, I guess I'm back to the whole baking soda/vinegar thing. Sad I wasted the money.

Just Another “Clorox” Tilex NOT the real Tilex
I tried so hard to find the original Tilex or the one can replace its powerfulness. But, I failed once again. It is just little stronger than the clorox branded Tilex.Don’t bother if you are also looking for the original Tilex which you just spray, wait 10 mins and shiny tiles.

Great product
This stuff works better than all of the stuff I have tried before. We have a well with hard water. I didn't have to wear my shoulder out scrubbing every week. It seems like with continued use, there was even less hard water and soap build up even happening.
