works great - and worth the price. the company video says you can’t use less than 99% iso alc to activate/remove but i used 99% and 71% and it was the same honestly. it is completely transfer proof when dry. if you’re looking to make it opaque, let the alcohol sit in the pan for a bit until the top layer looks creamy - it will feel a bit heavier on the skin but works great and still doesn’t transfer. it doesn’t dry as quickly as you’d think it would (for mixing colors) - once it’s on the skin, it will dry pretty quick! using for halloween on my hands - and for tattoo cover ups!

I've wanted an alcohol activated makeup palette for years but didn't want to spend the $100 for a skin illustrator one not knowing what I would really even use it for lol. I came across this one and decided to give it a try. I am NOT disappointed! Price was great and the quality is much better than I expected. It recommends 99% alcohol to activate but I missed the UPS guy with my order and so I tried it with 91% which is easily accessible from any pharmacy and it works perfectly with it (I don't know if there are any negative effects to the makeup over time but I can't imagine there would be). This stuff is truly water resistant.. Hell it's even SOAP and water resistant lol (I just wanted to test how easily it would come off). Alcohol takes it right back off like magic (alcohol can be very drying to the skin so you may want to follow removal with some lotion). If you're looking to try out some Alcohol activated makeup then I highly recommend you start here to get a feel for them! Would definitely repurchase!

I used this for all over my face I wouldn't recommend doing that but hey live and learn. I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for something thats gonna last, it did not stain my skin at all though it was kind hard to take off, I had to use a lot of the remover along with my makeup remover, I had to wash my face three times (mind you this was not a simple design on my face, and I was a couple of layers) my makeup lasted longer than 8hours and that was with a mask on! The only part that was kinda rubbing off was the black on the very tip of my nose. There's enough to cover your whole face multiple times but I don't recommend doing that, its okay for sensitive skin though the remover irritated my skin a little.

I've always wanted to try out alcohol activated paints for my cosplays, but have always been worried that my dark skin would keep these from showing up. However, they worked perfectly. They layered well, lasted all day on my skin, removed easily with the included remover, and were easy to apply. Definitely a good starting pallette if you don't want to spend $80+ on a name brand one and just want to dip your feet into costume makeup without spending a fortune to do so.

Tried this for a Halloween costume, and it was not easy to use. Plus, using alcohol with it was very odorous!

used this for a clown look. Was worried about the white and if it would show up or be too transparent but after two or three coats it was completely white. Stayed on all night. Pretty stoked on quick delivery and price. My skin was a little irritated the next day but it might be because of how I took it off. ( ^

This is the first time I’ve bought my own set as I usually borrowed from a friend. I make my own prosthetic as an actor on a haunted trail. I’ve used a bruise wheel in the past to color the mask but decided to up the game this year. I have to say, this is going to last forever! I was a bit hesitant to get it because of the cost but really, a little goes a long way. My friend has used her for three years now on a full staff of actors and there’s barely a dent in each color. Definitely worth the investment.

I bought two pallets I was thinking it was a good quality and I tried it for a special effects and it’s really sticky. It’s not the good colors and it gets weird on the skin. I’m pretty disappointed.

I wanted to create a Halloween look that would last and that I could not sweat off. This palette worked great - the colours were vibrant and smudgeproof. With a little practice, I think it'll be even better. Because it was so good, taking it off was difficult. I'd definitely recommend getting the brand's remover as well or you'll be scrubbing with alcohol for a while!

No matter how much you sweat, this make up isn’t moving. Absolutely phenomenal for night outs, Halloween parties

Not great, pallettes are only partially filled and I needed to use triple the amount of alcohol to get a decent amount of pigmentation.

I love this palette so far. I have a few skin illustrator palettes but was looking to try other similar brands at different price points. This one is great and I plan on purchasing the other color palette they have. It says to use with 90% alcohol but I use 70 and it works perfect. The colors are great and work well for all types of wounds, bruises and cuts. I highly recommend this
