I think the confusion to whether these are leather or not is because of the stretchy material around the ankle. The label on the inside says leather and man made material because of the stretchy material not the boot itself. My boots smell like leather. The only disappointment I thought was the fact that the heel is plastic/rubber and looks a bit cheap but they are comfortable.

Wore these in Paris for two weeks. Still looks new. Very comfortable and stylish. Goes well with tights, pants, and dresses.

These boots look nice but are not genuine leather. My boots also squeak. Does anyone know what I can do? It's ridiculous walking down a quiet hallway.

Such high hopes for these boots, but... They are much narrower and smaller than anticipated. I wear a 6, ordered a 6.5, and the size was still too small. So order up! Also for wide feet people, these are not the boots for you unless they have a wide in your size. The pair I received were already worn in! The top of the boots had creases over it and the bottom of the boots were DIRTY! I quickly returned them.

I love the comfort of these boots. They're perfect for women with skinny legs. However, each boot is a little different color. One is darker than the other. No one else noticed until I said something, but I can't unsee it. Pretty annoying.

Very tight, not as expected

These pull-on boots take some breaking in, especially in the heel and in pulling them on and off. The body of the shoe is comfortable, however, right out of the box. It just takes me forever to get them on and off, even with the elastic panel in the middle of the boot. My heel gets a little sore after a couple of hours; however, I've only been wearing them for about a week, and the friction isn't too bad. Given that they are leather, I expect them to soften and give with wear. I am between a size 8.5 and 9, and I find the 9 fits me well, especially since I tend to wear thicker socks with boots.I was afraid that I would hate the way the elastic on the side looks, but I don't mind it. The toe and boots itself are simple but attractive. The low heel is perfect for everyday wear.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann
