It is a good replacement but however I feel that Philips being a leader in lighting should find ways and means to lower prices especially now that unscrupulous and unreliable brands have flooded the market. Large price gaps mean that public at large will never procure brands of reliable sources and never know the difference in quality. Worldwide endeavors to popularise the item as a step towards green concept would get a fillip if Philips with other good brands in tow work towards this end. It is really baffling that the raw material and other inputs are so cheap yet the prices are so evadingly high. As I understand, led lamps should be much more cheaper than the CFL which it will eventually replace undoubtedly, considering manufacturing costs and inputs involved but market leaders are resisting all coercions to drag prices southwards. What I apprehend is that the price bullies by unbranded cheap varieties from minors will compel the other good brands to detach from the chain commandeered by Philips for sustenance. This is plain economics and has been happening repeatedly with many a products.

Bulb got fused within one day . Item cannot be returned. Need to go for cumbersome process of contacting philips nowBetter to buy offine. Atleast you can contact shopkeeper.

No complaints, go for it.
Can't complain. Good brightness and quality.But as I have experienced with all my previous LED bulb purchases, the life expectancy is only one year. It can fail anytime after a year of good service.Other than that there are no complaints.
