This little guy is aROARable! He is soft and well made. The lil guy I'm giving it to will love it, too! He is teething now and I am not worried about him chewing on this and I know he can hold it and move it around without banging himself in the face, like some rattles do. It is the perfect size for a baby or toddler and an older child would continue to love this little 'friend' for years. There is no 'pile' as the material used is flat but very soft and the facial features are sewn, so no choking hazard to worry about. He is about 6-7" tall and so cute and cuddly. The rattle isn't loud so it won't frighten him and he will soon learn how to squeeze the handle so the lion will squeak quietly, too. I am very impressed, satisfied and happy with this lion rattle.

Great for infants. Helps learn motor skills and has different textures. There's a rattle and squeaker in it. Easy to spot clean, perfect for small hands but big enough to enjoy. By baby has had it 3 months now and it's a playtime staple. Bonus it doesn't hurt to be bonked with and won't injure the baby when the inevitably hit themselves.

This grandma had the honor of choosing the baby’s first toy. This soft, lightweight elephant has been perfect! At 3 weeks she can grasp it easily and chews on it. It’s washable. The bright colors attract her and she likes to follow it with her eyes when we shake it in front of her. The rattle is a little quiet, but the crinkly sound of the ears interests her. We got a second one for tummy time. I’m so glad to find a toy that interests a baby so young. This will be my go-to gift for friends and family with new babies.

Only toy my 4 month old baby girl loves. She doesn't pay attention to any other toy. Has come to doctors appointments. Vaccine companion!
