This Iron Flask 40oz insulated water bottle was exactly what I was looking for. I work in public safety and am not always near the station to refill my water bottle and wanted something that would allow me a couple refills but keep the water cold until I needed it. This does exactly that. I used a 20oz shaker bottle as a water bottle, so this gives Iron Flask bottle gives me two refills until I need to fill it up again. It is the perfect size to keep on my passenger seat without taking up much room at all. I have not had any issues with the bottle leaking and it is very good quality. the bottle came with three different lids. One is just a standard lid that stays attached to the bottle when unscrewed and is stainless steel. There is a straw lid, with a silicone straw that goes into the bottle and a plastic straw on the plastic lid for drinking. The third is a plastic lid like a standard coffee thermal drinking lid. I have only used the stainless steel lid as I only use this to hold extra water to refill my other water bottle since I add a water flavor to it. All three lids have a handle source for easy carrying of the water bottle. I drop this thing all the time and it still holds up really well. Of course it is going to scratch or dent when you drop it, it isn't a magic water bottle. But it has not affected the lids or seals in any way. I like to put stickers on my metal water bottles anyways, so nothing a fun sticker cant cover up! I do not put hot liquids in this water bottle, so I cannot speak to how well it keeps liquids hot, but it keeps my water nice and cold so I wouldn't have any doubt in its ability to keep liquids warm for as long as it says. I would purchase more of this product in the future if I needed.

There's really nothing to say about this flask except it's top quality and it keeps my water cold all day. I've had it for almost 6 years and it's still clean and sturdy. The lid is a twist on or off kinda lid, so it works. The lid sip top is twist as well, so you don't have to worry about leaks. I managed to snag the 16 fl oz size, which holds exactly two bottles of water. And although it works, I kinda wish I went down a size. There is no straw, but the lid does come with an attached handle, for anybody out there wondering. Lastly, it's made of some real strong steel, so be careful not to drop it on somebody's head. I highly recommend this bad boy if you're in the market for one.

This is my 3rd iron flask water bottle. I have multiple sizes . Purchased the 64 oz for work so I would have more water on hot days at work. They are pretty durable if dropped it can dent some of my other ones have small dents that I've owned for years. Didn't affect it in any other ways though. I like the wide variety of color selections. It came packaged nice with the mentioned different style lids. I tried one sticker on it and a corner would not stick perhaps do to the fact there is a small amount of texture not glass smooth. But still smooth. My coffe in smaller versions stay warm all day and in the larger version stays cool even if I didnt fridge it first. Ive picked up ones that sat in a yard while I worked in the beating sun which I'll add can get very hot to the touch but the contents do not. Ill continue to use this product for the reasons of I have for years and have had zero issues with shipping damage customer service or anything else. Plus the prices are always decent.

tldr; I've had it for one day, seems pretty good, I support it, if that counts for anything. If you have doubts, take a look at the Aquatix Fliptop mentioned below as it's a great bottle. I'll update this review if anything happens (leaking with a seal in place, container doesn't maintain temperatures, etc.). Update, 3/19/20: I filled my 40oz. Iron Flask with 10 cubes of ice and cold water; the 32 oz. Aquatix with 6 cubes and cold water. I figured the 8 oz difference warranted more ice for the Iron Flask. It's been 3 hours, and the Iron Flask's ice is all melted, but the Aquatix is still going super strong, all six cubes are there, albeit 1/2 - 3/4 the original size. If you're looking for something to keep your drinks cold, the Aquatix is the way to go. But I'm sure both bottles have their merits to each individual person. To begin, I use an "Aquatix Fliptop double insulated vacuum sealed 32 oz." So why'd I buy this? I live in a pretentious town that thinks its amazing, but the drinking water served everywhere is pretty terrible without a filter. That's just America these days, and if you disagree, just give it time to reach you, or maybe you're already acclimated to terrible water and can't differentiate anymore. I go to the gym, smoke a few j's with friends and hike, I walk 4+ mi's and run 3+ mi's every day, not including sprints. I partake in archery, rock-climbing, and bowling; I'm active AF. So, I thought, if I'm gonna want decent drinking water throughout the day, then I'll need another bottle. I also thought that instead of spending $100 on White Russians during my bowling leagues, I could just buy the $30 supplies, mix it, and keep it in this BLUE 40 oz thermos. I think 16 oz. would suffice, but better safe than sorry. I checked google for the best drinking bottles; then correlated it with Amazons selection. Thus, here we are with Iron Flask. SO first things first: TEST FOR LEAKS. I'm only going to be using the straw lid, so I tested it out-- there's many notorious reviews commenting on it. I didn't experience any leaks with that lid. I'm assuming the leaks are probably because these people lost the rubber seal that goes inside the lid, along the rim; or maybe the flip top isn't closed completely. Secondly, it's pretty easy to handwash. I just put a little soap in, hot water, and shake it for a few minutes like I'm mixing a cocktail. Could it be easier? Yeah, it'd be nice to throw this into the dishwasher. We can build spaceships, sell $200 phones for $1600, quarantine an entire country because the healthcare system is a joke-- so I dream one day we can make these bottles dishwasher safe. Lastly, the styling is amazing. I got the 40 oz "Dark Night" variant, but if this holds out for a few months (if not years), then I can absolutely see grabbing the "Dark Rainbow," and "Lime," variants too. They all seem to look nice though. So what's wrong? They give you an extra straw, three lids, BUT NO REPLACEMENT SEALS. My Aquatix came with a replacement seal, which I actually needed as I noticed it was leaking, and found the seal to be gone. Busted out the replacement and its been going strong for almost a year since. You don't know what you got 'til it's gone, and I promise, a replacement seal is very welcome. Hopefully this review helped, it's a great container. If you have any doubts, I can swear by the AQUATIX I previously mentioned: it's been solid, dropped dozens of times, still going strong. The best part is that I can put 4-8 ice cubes in it, cold water, and go throughout the day, 6-8 hours, and have it be as chilled as it was when I filled it. I've filled it with ice and water before bed, and woken up to the same ice cubes floating around. I capitalized AQUATIX so you know this last paragraph is in regards to the AQUATIX.

The Iron Flask does exactly as advertised. Keeps beverages cold for hours. I don't drink hot beverages(not a coffee/tea drinker). I love the choice of covers, when packing for later I use the cover with no drink opening when biking I use the straw opening and hiking I use the wider drink spout. The 3 tops are a bonus. The wider opening is a great design to insert approximately a 2 inch ball shape ice cube and make cleaning easy. I love all the sharp choice of colors that others don't offer.

I take a water bottle everywhere I go. This bottle is made with great quality material. It keeps my drink insulated and cold. The bottle handle/cap has a nice opening making it easy to transport. The size is perfect and it motivates me to drink more water. I highly recommend this water bottle. The color combination it beautiful and the bottom sock keeps it quiet.

This is a must buy water bottle I'd highly recommend it in my opinion I've used it now more than over a year and it has been wonderful put a bunch of ice cubes in it and keeps my water or any liquids in it cold for a good amount of time couple hours or more depending upon how much ice you put in it. I love the black colored marble look. 40 oz is a good size that holds a lot of water used it for playing basketball and other sports and exercise. It got hit by the ball one time and fell over on the concrete and it only minorly scratched it seen in the picture not too bad overall strong durable stainless steel water bottle easy to clean and dry and I love the different head attachments that come with it for whatever meets your preference. I use the twist open top that's my personal favorite one that I always use. I imagine this water bottle will last me years before having to ever purchase another one maybe forever but going from plastic to stainless steel is a must I had enough of plastic ones doesn't keep your water cold is toxic with BPA chemicals and isn't good for your health glad I finally made the switch over to stainless steel and will never go back. Also doesn't leave strange after smells like the plastic water bottles would.

Kanne. Halt sehr lange heiß bis warm. Und ist zudem auch noch robust und lässt sich leicht reinigen. Es sind drei verschiedene Verschlüsse bei, der eine ist einfach nur ein Drehverschluss mit einem Ring den man an der Kanne befestigen kann damit der Deckel nicht runterfällt oder verloren geht. Der andere ist so ein breiter fester einklappbarer trink saug halm, sieht ausgeklappt etwas aus wie bei den Schnabeltassen von damals, auf der Unterseite ist ein Kunststoff Strohhalm den man auswechseln kann, was ganz einfach geht, ein Ersatz Halm ist dabei. Eingeklappt ist es auch dicht, es läuft nichts aus, schon paarmal benutzt. Der andere Verschluss ist so ähnlich wie bei diesen Coffee to Go plastik Bechern deckeln. Und auch ein Klappverschluss dabei der dicht hält. Hab ich bisher nur einmal probiert weil mir diese Art des Trinkens nicht gefällt. Alles in allem bin ich sehr zufrieden mit der Kanne und bereue den Kauf nicht.
