This is made by Canon exactly for their printers. It works perfectly. The only disadvantage is that it's much more expensive than off-brand toner cartridges. We purchased this one to replace a defective, off-brand cyan cartridge. The other 3 off-brand toner cartridges are sill working fine. However, the customer service for the defective cartridge has been poor: three service requests with no response.

Very expensive but always works perfectly and last as per manual.

Received expired toner. Sent a new box-same expiration. Informed that this vendor also known to do similar. Watch out for expired toner!! It may work, but will not last and the price difference matters with longevity of expected product. Will see, but last toner lasted numerous prints of intense color and blackening choices over 2-3 yrs as original Canon product. Very uncomfortable that expiration date listed as Jan 2023.

I have tried non-OEM cartridges and have found that the higher price for the Canon OEM is absolutely worth the cost - they work seamlessly, allow the printer to read levels of print media remaining and give high qualify print. While the non-OEM brands can be much cheaper, I have found them to provide less printing volume and will always go with the Canon for my refill needs.

These are not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Itried the cheap replacements and hadnothing but problems with smudges, colors off, faint printing etc. The copies now are as good as the original,

Bought this to replace a well reviewed off brand toner cartridge. The off brand started to bleed on our paper after only a few uses and the print was blurry. The OEM cartridge has shown itself to worth the investment with sharp text and no bleed. Pricey, but we don’t print a ton in colour so should last a long time

I tried the cheaper cartridges and the quality and quantity of prints were poor! Very disappointing!Spent the $ and bought the canon cartridges and the color is perfect again! You definitely get what you pay for with these toner cartridges.
