desertcart.com: Folding Luggage Carrier Wheeled Cart Trolley Suitcase Hand Truck Travel Dolly : Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry

Review: Good value, well designed, light weight - Lightweight and cleverly designed. It's not the most sturdy-feeling trolley ever, but that's because it's quite light, which is perfect for my traveling needs. I just suggest bringing some extra bungees or accessory cord, as it needs more than just the integrated bungee to securely attach to a bag.
Review: I like it! It's a great compact cart. - Many of the reviews I read about this cart mentioned difficultly (or lack of information/understanding) about folding the cart back up after use. When the cart is folded up the handle locks down over the ends of the folded legs to keep them in place. In order to unfold the cart you push the button and spring pressure pops the handle up enough that the legs can swing outward. Once the button is pushed the vertical handle can be pivoted up 180-degrees. When you do this the legs will automatically be moved out to their extended position (unless you're holding them together (inadvertently) with your hand) and the handle will "lock" into its vertical position. This "lock" is provided by two spring-loaded pins, you just press against the pressure until the handle locks in place. When you extend the handle (this does not require pushing the button at the top of the handle) the inside tube of the handle moves up and completely opens the holes that the two spring-loaded pin protrude into, then the handle is truly locked into place (prior to moving the handle up the spring-loaded pins are only partially locking the handle, just enough to allow the handle to remain vertical). The first step in folding the cart is to press the button at the top of the handle and collapse the upright handle. In theory it doesn't have to collapse to the point of latching but in practice that's what will happen. You'll have to press against the spring pressure when the handle is almost completely collapsed (the same spring pressure that "pops" the handle up to unfold it) in order to unlock the spring-loaded pins. Once the handle is pressed down you can rotate the vertical handle down...this motion is what unlocks the legs! You cannot fold the legs inward until the cart handle is rotated out of the slot in the grey molded center component (it's the handle being in the "up" position that keeps the legs deployed). Before you get the legs all the way to their stored position you need to press the button on the handle so that it can "pop" back up enough to clear the ends of the legs. With the handle out of the way, fold the legs fully then push the handle back down until it locks. If you're forcing something, you're doing it incorrectly. At most you'll press against some spring pressure when you press the handle all the way down (and it latches). This is very much easier to do than to explain. Now that I know how it works it literally takes seconds to deploy or fold the cart. I'd really like a higher tech version of this made out of aluminum at half the weight (and probably four times the cost!) since my only complaint is that it's a little heavy (I'd like to stick in my eBags Mother Lode backpack)...but honestly, that's nitpicking since this cart weighs in at 1.9 pounds on my digital scale. I love the design and the compactness, and given the cost it's a great value. Of course, we'll see how it holds up...

## Questions & Answers

**Q: will this fit with ryanairs size policy**
A: Thank you for contacting us. I cannot speak for Ryanair's policy but here is what I found on their website in comparison to the item you are inquiring about. Item dimensions: Folded: 15"l x 6.5" x 3"h Open: 10"l x 12"w x 36"h Ryanair's restrictions: 21" x 15" x 7" Website: https://www.ryanair.com/us/terms-and-conditions/regulations-cabinbaggage/I hope this helps. Please feel free to contact us with any further questions. Have a great day! --Deal Genius Customer Service

**Q: I really like the carrier, but I can't figure out how to refold it after use. How do you refold this? Please help!**
A: I had a bit of a struggle at first also. What I do is the following - and note that the feet are a bit stiff when new, so you may have to slightly 'snap' them a bit. So, the first thing I do is fold the feet back into the main legs (into the "Y" shape part). Next push the button on the handle and slide it down nearly as far as it will go. It will be about 10 inches above the center part where everything folds around (You can actually do the handle button and collapse it first and then fold the feet - whatever your preference). Now while holding the main center part in one hand, fold the handle down into it's slot. As you do this, watch to see that the feet parts close into their slots so they lock into place as the handle rotates downward. In order to get it to completely lock, you have to have the handle up about 2 inches or so, squeeze the legs together and push the handle downward to have the legs fit into the two openings under the handle - at this point, the handle should lock in place and will only be able to be released by pushing the button and opening the carrier. Hope this helps and was not to complicated of an instruction.

**Q: What are the wheel made of? How wide does something need to be to not fall between the "legs"?**
A: Thank you for contacting us with your question. The wheels are made of rubber and the dimensions for the cart: Folded: 15"l x 6.5" x 3"h Open: 10"l x 12"w x 36"h. I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Have a great day! --Deal Genius Customer Support

**Q: Can't seem to figure out how to fold this thing!!! Does anyone know??**
A: This sounds complicated, but if you can follow what I'm saying (I hope I can explain well enough), you will have the "Aha!" moment I did. It will be the last of your problems with this and you will be pleased with your purchase and how quickly you can fold it up. #1. Using the top button on the handle and with carrier flat, push the handle down to its shortest length. #2. This is where I had my problem. Continue to push the handle down (pushing top button still and it takes a little force) and push up to an "L" shape. Fold the leg extensions into the legs while holding the handle up and push the legs together, making sure the extensions go into the place provided for them. #4. Push the handle down between the legs. With handle button, push the handle down to lock over leg ends. You may have to pull the handle up a little before pushing down, (with the button) so it will fit over the leg ends. #5. The elastic cord should be on what I call the backside, which means you turn the carrier over, slide the elastic down into the notches on the leg extensions, into the space left by the handle, around to the front and hook it into 1 of 2 spaces provided for the hook.

### ⭐⭐ Very compact, but not reliable
*by C***4 on May 13, 2016*

I like how compact and light this thing is, but when I tried carrying my luggage with this, it was hard to secure it in one place. My luggage kept on sliding and falling off, even with extra ropes to tie it.
