Fr. Gallagher was a delight to find for me. His books explain ideologies from complex writers and puts them together concisely. All of his reads are very helpful when beginning a spiritual path or just for basic knowledge.

I found, however better than I anticipated. It has given a much needed daily consecration to Mary, having made my consecration to her three years ago I have lately discouraged with my daily lack of redirecting my life to her. Venerable Bruno has given me the peace to know I must pick myself up and try again as soon as I realize my error. He also has increased my relationship with Jesus. A must to everyone who desire s to a more spiritual life

Father Timothy Gallagher has a gift for simplicity of thought and practical expression. This is very difficult for anyone to achieve on any subject, but it is the very thing that is needed in spiritual direction, and the spiritual life in general. All of Fr. Gallagher's books have these qualities, which makes them suitable for everyone, regardless of his state in life. He addresses the spiritual life in a universal way, that is, the humanity involved such that he speaks to every soul. Not knowing you are, I can confidently say that this book is for you.

This book is filled with pearls from Ven. Bruno Lanteri!!! Don't read it like a book. Savor each helpful pearl to help you progress in your faith, hope, love, and trust in our loving Lord!!! You will be blessed.

I love love love this book!!!! I encourage any Christian who is going through a depression to read this book slowly , deeply & meditate on it, chew it over & over. I was going through a depression & desperately looking for something to read when I came across this book by accident, but actually there’s no accidents with God. This little 110 page book seriously has made me think, reevaluate my life & found my answers. I feel SO MUCH better!

Wonderful and practical resource for building a stronger prayer life. During this pandemic, all Christians need support and encouragement. This book is not just for Catholics. Any Christian that desires a closer daily walk with Christ and to help others can benefit. It is an easy and slow read. I find myself taking notes and looking up the scriptures. Most highly recommend!

Blessed Bruno's words are comfort and consolation. Fr Gallagher's commentary is excellent in helping the read make sense of Bruno's words and assimilate them into our own experience. Imagine a world where nobody were to give up on the spiritual life, where nobody gave into discouragement.
