Read This Book to Help Counter Islamophobia
This long-awaited and much needed book about Spiritual Direction in the Qur'an is a wonderful antidote to popular media messages about Islam and the Sacred Text of Islam, the Qur'an. Prepare yourself to be surprised by what you discover about the Qur'an! Jamal Rahman is not only a practicing Muslim, but also a well-respected Sheik and a descendent and student of a respected lineage of Sufi Muslim teachers from Bangladesh. He is also a serious student of many other religious traditions, including Buddhism, Taoism, Christianity and Judaism. His Interfaith work and associations with his co-authors and others, have helped him to make vital connections between Islam and the other Abrahamic traditions. Jamal's outlook on the Qur'an is deep. He and his co-authors focus on universal themes and messages present in all the Abrahamic traditions. They do not avoid differences, but look at the sacred texts of all three traditions from a cultural and historical perspective which allows for personal interpretation. Most important, they encourage us to apply the teachings directly to our lives, and give many practical examples of just how to do that. This book is not about religion. It's about life.

Great Read combining all the main ones
This is an excellent read. Even though some believe in trinity in a different context. I feel Jewish, Islam and Christian are the trinity. Anyway, give it a try,you will be enlightened and learn from the unknown.

Shining Light in a Dark World
Out of Darkness...is an unusual work that provides insight, inspiration and practical steps to move us all forward in our spiritual evolution. It is oddly simple in pursuing such an ambitious course, and as such, it is personal, intuitive and accessible. The sound scholarship shatters myths and preconceptions and opens interfaith doors.A work of profound beauty that touches and nourishes the inner most being every time it is read. Out of Darkness should be required reading for every seminary student, no matter what their religion. This is a great source book for interfaith dialogue.Rev. R. M. Read this book to cure cobra-phobia
The Koran says in 9:29 that Jews and Christians must be crushed and forced to pay their back Infidel Taxes. Muslims won't tell you that they must obey this. They have a rule of authorized dishonesty called Taqqiya. This book is full of wishful thinking by Humanists who want to force the big five religions under their umbrella, cutting off whatever parts of these religions that don't fit inside Humanism. Exclusive devotion and the supernatural are two that they war against. They wish to twist all holy books to agree with them. They have had success with some versions of the Bible, but if they try that with the Koran and the Bhagav Gita, there would be a war.Cobra-phobia is justified and reasonable.
