I used one of these bags to filter a burned bread amino sauce and it worked great for the initial filtering process. I wanted something finer than cheese cloth but not so fine as a jelly bag and this fit that space perfectly. I was able to pour the sauce through the filter bag fairly quickly to remove most of the sediment. I did have to run the sauce through a jelly bag to remove additional sediment, but having removed most of it with this filter made that process easier. The bags seem to be sturdy and well made and it cleaned up very easily. They fit snuggly around the rim of a 2 gallon bucket and are about as deep as the bucket.

Good product have bungee ties for tighten around bucket when fermenting is taking place. Good strong materials well made.

Works great. This bag keeps a lot of pulp out of your juice.

The product is overall a good price for the quality and works well as a straining bag. Comes clean really easy. However, using it in the Brew-In-Bag style the bag became heavily stained after the first use. I tried cleaning it with bleach and it still has a comparatively darker shade to the bag I've only used for straining.

I have a 15 gallon stock pot which none of my other mesh bags would fit over for brewing. This bag was large enough and i'm quite happy with the quality.

The first 2 brewing bags I had purchased have lasted through many wine and beer batches. As with any brewing bags, the clean-up is made a bit difficult by the fact that the bag must be sewn shut. However, the softness (yet durable) feature of these bags lessens the load of cleaning, so I am rating the "Easy to clean" feature as 5-stars. When looking to purchase a 2nd set of bags, for my expansion to make a lot of wine when fruit is on sale :) , I did not even shop around for another supplier - this is NOT the way I do things normally, though it was on this occasion. I am very pleased with these purchases.
