It has superior grip due to it's textured surface. In addition, density of the pattern prevents slippery. The foam infill makes it feel comfortable so tiny particles underneath the mat are almost insensible (talking about small rocks, sand,etc). Also it doesn't melt in direct sunlight :) so you can easily use it outside even on the hottest day. My verdict - premium yoga mat 5 stars.
