Is the pole length adjustable? What is the minimum length?

The saw came in three sections having a total length of of about 120 inches. The center section of 40 inches is removable giving a a minimum length of about 80 inches.

Can the saw be operated alone, like the Worx saw, the pole can be taken out, so the saw can be used as a "chain saw"?

There are only two lengths - with all three pieces which makes it 9 foot long, or with just the handle/battery section and the saw head at 6 foot long. I've used it on a few close to the ground branches, but it's not as easy to wield as a regular small chain saw. While you can reach some higher branches, you don't want to be cutting directly above your head.

Why do they openly state its 15 ft reach when people that have purchased it says it’s only about 10 ft ? What’s going on Dewalt ???

I never really thought about it but I believe when they say it will reach 15 feet. When.you’re holding the Pole Saw straight up yourself. If you can reach 5 feet and the Pole Saw can reach 10 feet that’s 15 feet. I believe that’s what they’re talking about.

Does this have an oil fill window?

There is not a window. The DCPS620M1 has a oil level indicator.
